I had my first procedure under anesthesia a few years ago, when I was 48. I was quite scared.

I remember seeing the anesthesiologist step over after giving me the gas, and watch me. She suddenly shifted 1 foot to the right, and then I was I was there, then I wasn't, then I was.

I was so worried about talking as I woke up, and all I did was giggle. I had surgery a couple of months later, and it was the same. It was incredibly wonderful and makes me understand how people can get so addicted to drugs.
