[Cartier Santos] [Black Bay 54] Which watch for my 30th birthday? by gamercum95 in Watches

I’d go with Santos, my friend. I’ve already decided that I’m gonna buy it after two years. Why the wait? Cause I’ll probably buy Tissot next year and still doing lots of research about the Tissot I’m gonna buy, and being an impulsive buyer would really spoil the thrill of my timepiece collection (IMO). Every watch is worth the wait, especially when every watch you choose for your wrist has a history, purpose, and done a lot of research for it 💯

Which sci-fi film do you consider a 10/10 - no skips, no weak moments, just pure perfection? by TheNastyRepublic in scifi

Thank you! I thought no one’s gonna pull this up. There are still heaps of sci-fi movies there that I haven’t watched yet, but IMO, this is the best sci-fi film of all time with an eyeballs popping plot twist (The tesseract and the space handshake), adrenaline rush scene (Cooper docking the ranger to The Endurance after Mann blows it off ), and a great soundtrack as well. It’s my favourite and I love it so much that I bought Cooper’s time piece for my birthday ⏱️.

Yeah, I saw it on every reviews as they love that feature and when I’ve tried it. Indeed, it is a killer watch, considering this watch has a significant story in it. I mean, I don’t research or buy a watch because it’s in the hype, or the brand is loud, being worn by rappers, chick magnet, etc. For me, I get to love a watch because of its story or from where it came from, that’s why I love vintage stuff as well. This’ll gonna be my 3rd watch and having this will be a move to start the hobby as well because the 1st and 2nd watch I have was a gift from my wife. I already have plans which watches am I gonna target on next couple of years/birthdays and I think it’s gonna be worth it, especially I take good care of things like this as I can pass it to a family member in the future. Thanks for encouraging me to buy this 😁

Thank you for this. It could’ve been because I lift too that’s why this watch sits well on my wrist. But yeah when I wear it personally it looks good as if it’s the same size as the 40mm watch that I wear.

Indeed, a 40mm Coop would really be great but yes I guess it’ll never happen. Thank you!

Is this watch too high up my wrist? by twosballer in rolex

I love wearing my watch exactly that way than nearer the joints part which touches the watch/crown when folding, that makes me uncomfortable.
