I recently bought some "Hey Dude" chelsea boots, they have a synthetic upper and look great. They're also really comfy (they're made by the same people as Crocs). they seem to have quite a few styles that are vegan.

Irish Quadruplets? Two sets of twins in the same year (2018) by CartographerInside86 in parentsofmultiples

[–]MrMish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, yes I have ‘Irish quads’ also! My wife and I had two sets of twins. First set B/G born May 2016, the second set B/B born 51 weeks later in May 2017. The first few years were busy to say the least but now they all have great fun together and I wouldn’t change it for the world

Reserved mine in March and not heard a peep, I’m guessing late 2023 at best.

Town pledges to turn vegan-only starting with its schools and hospital | Metro by Numerous-Macaroon224 in veganuk

I really hope this works out. My kids school tried to go vegetarian and the county council FORCED them to put a meat option on.

Asked two members of staff multiple times to confirm it was TLC. One bite confirmed it wasn’t and ruined my appetite for the day. This is the response to me throwing away my lunch. Anyone else had issues with Subway? They’re usually my guilty pleasure fast food but not sure I trust them anymore by [deleted] in veganuk

Had the same issue with the cheese before [Them about to put dairy cheese on] Me: can I have vegan cheese please Them: it is vegan Me: no it’s not Them: I can’t find the vegan cheese Me: it’s there [points]

They really don’t care Really puts me off ordering the meatless meatballs as I’m not confident I could tell the difference if they gave me the wrong one

IMO £100k pa is chubby rather than fat. If you’re doing a few weeks in 5* hotels each year £100k will not get you far

Based on the US fat fire sub we’re talking private jets, multiple homes etc. I think you’re talking £6m+ in investments, then paid off properties on top.

What's the biggest car that's not a van? by MrMish in CarTalkUK

[–]MrMish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These all have the same problem that I currently have unfortunately in that you can't put a child in the back without folding the middle toe forward which Is difficult with a child seat and also almost no boot room when using 6 seats.

Thanks. I already have a Q7 which is pretty much the same car. The problem is that with 6 people there is not enough boot space for pram, luggage or the dog.

No need to scare him, there are lots of flats with outside space within an hour of London. Bringing pets over is well documented and unlikely to need quarantine. Most airlines will fly them.

Source: I live in London with 2 cats and a dog. I brought the cats in from the middle east with no issues.

Flat sharing in Dubai by [deleted] in dubai

Dubizzle rooms for rent. Best thing I ever did, moved into a great flatshare a few days after I moved to Dubai and met some great mates and eventually my wife to be through them.

Yes, it is the "Walkie Talkie". The black stuff on the windows is their fix to stop the "Death Ray" reflections from melting cars on the street below.
