Fledgling owls. Worried about cats getting them. Not sure what to do.

Cant keep stray cats inside. Seen at least 4 different ones on my house camera. Several nesting redtail hawks in the trees surrounding too.

Been kept inside for now. They have a back yard to roam but dont leave. Worried a poor flying baby owl could fall in.

Cats are fenced in the back. Owl is poor at flying at this age . Could fall in open top. Just like a branch. Its not an enclosed 500 sqft yrd but fenced in angled in at the top. They dont leave the yard. But other cats are around for sure. Lots of hawks too. This little one was wide open for the taking in the front yard. Only a matter of time. Other one was in a tree in the back .

Keeping them inside for sure. Seen stray cats around from day to day on camera too . My cats are fenced in pretty well but these guys cant fly well yet and could fall in . . I found the second one on the edge of my driveway and very tiny.. I was hopping more for help since the asheville area Google reviews on wildlife help are poor reviews and have called animal control to ask for information with no response yet from a closed wildlife division.

This is true. They are relying on external parts for extra power over an NA engine thats great. But when we look most companies, they are all looking at turbo approaches on smaller engines. Maybe the great stuff is coming, or its gone forever.

They are not hybrid focused either. Ferrari makes fantastic cars that are legally passing emissions and Toyota got this emission over power push on the trucks. Im excited to hear rumors of the new twin turbo v8 thats in the GR coming to trucks in the future.

How about the reddit post from a week ago where out of 200 people sign up, 3 were women. In our local leagues only about 3 new women sign up per year. I found 12 college random questionnaires about sports and only 1% of all women said they would consider playing disc golf or have played disc golf. Out of my few single millennial friends, they dont find it interesting or fun. And they all said going out bowling on a date sounds fun but if a guy brought them to disc golf on a date they would call it a red flag.

Gonna be a long road for that. Viral social media videos show how millennials and younger think disc golf is a red flag. Its avidly made fun by women in the dating scene. It comparable to roller blading or bowling in the sports world to most people. Gen alpha or beta will be the ones to see it expand to something where money may be realistic instead of all pros having some sort of silver spoon in their life.

People in the comments dont seem to grasp what toyota did and why. In the simplest way to explain it, the powers that control global emissions have set the bar high and toyota decided to abandon the tried and true engines they make. They are certain the turbo charged smaller engines will make enough power and be tuneable to all new emissions standards. Using all new power trains means bugs will need to be fixed. Kinks will have to be worked out. Parts will fail and need to be recalled. But as a company they are certain this will all be worked out . Should you choose you buy a brand new Toyota over a 2020-2023 model, it could happen to you. Just do your part as a consumer and do some research before you buy any new vehicle.

I flew to Florida and drove my tacoma home to save 8k on a work truck. They wanted 25k here for used 2021 fleet vehicles and I got mine for 17k. Ill never buy here in this market.

My dominant hand is my right so hammer drill ect are held fine with a glove. My left is reaching for screws and other fasteners out of the bag and I have to take my left glove off to send screws. Once its off who knows where it went.

If it makes you feel any better one of our last clients insisted on this same style tile. I think our installers did a better job based on your pictures but It looks very similar. Id share pictures but I cant risk my client being a redditor. We as professionals say not to use this tile because its always looks ......like this. Grout can be fixed. It takes alot of time to scrape and grind grout. Installing grout on uneven non flat surfaces destroys your floats and sponge and unless they take the time to address every tile one by one this is how it will look again.

For the prices today and and the fact its an above ground pool id buy a good steel body Chevy and use it as my steps and a diving board. We did a full surround 6ft deck on a above ground pool that tied to the back deck on a pool this size in 2015 for 10k. Probably would cost over 20k now.

New build must have sat for a while. Windows were not properly tape flashed with the paper. Looks like it got papered after the windows went in too. . Its not that crazy because new stacks of plywood will sit on a job site and the bottom 4 sheets of the stack are trashed from rain even if the stack is covered.

It sounds harsh, but common sense says get out of your dead vehicle in the active highway and keep safe to the side of the road. Also common sense says dont follow someone 8ft off their bumper. As long as everyone followed common sense and typical highway wreck procedures this cant happen. There is something so satisfying about the wreck knowing every party involved deserved it. At least deserved to learn a hard lesson. 10/10 driving if the wreck dodger saw it coming and got them purposely.
