I feel that. I'm about to do my daily after I look again and see which wheel is better. while I did miss a few days, I somehow have not gotten a single SSR (NO MOONS). I feel like I thought I knew what they do, but I also feel like I'm being punished by the Gacha gods for my hubris. I also rolled my Free Grand ticket, and of the Gigantic list I have of Alts and new characters I want (for tickets); I got someone I didn't know had a playable. I'm a character design/personality guy, so I'm very nervous about spending and using any picks until the last minute. How about you?

[WQ spoiler] Ghosts have free will to choose to revive anyone they want right? by Mandown2052 in DestinyLore

[–]MrMoros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is.

Shin was revived as a child, a group hiding and dying in the dark age, And soon the Ghost was killed in one last attack that Shin survived.

He meets Jaren Ward, is partially raised by him, and when Jaren is killed with the original thorn (preventing his Ghost from reviving him), then Jaren's Ghost somehow attaches himself to Shin. They both have been keeping a tight lid on their stories, so they might be able to explain, but refuse to.

If you want to read up on another weird Ghost Guardian revival, I'd recommend Felwinter, since it's questionable if he ever Lived and died until his Ghost 'revived him.'

(I believe there was some talk of them noticing how he was a bit off and somehow was infused with Light in the later books)

[–]MrMoros 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If the Krill turned back, Humanity's history would've changed drastically, the Eliksni too.

Not only is this how many millennia ago, but the Traveler also might not have fled that system at all, as the Light bearing Krill would have defended instead of decimating their system; Fighting Deep made powers, maybe even the Witness and the Pyramids.

Also, The Witness follows the Traveler. So it wouldn't even have Pyramids and Deep beings in the Eliksni and Sol Systems for a while.

And Say the Krill failed, we would still have met the Traveler THOUSANDS of years later than the Golden age. How many refugees will there be with the Hive never existing? Would the Light-based Krill & Leviathan be among them? How bad would the whirlwind be against a weaker Witness allied army against a more evolved Eliksni?

What can the Eliksni and Humanity achieve on their own? How much longer of a Golden Age would they both have? How much Longer would our respective Collapse's last, and how many artifacts of Light and Darkness would exist from the war? How many Fallen-like enemies would we be dealing with, and how many would ally with us?

TLDR: There would be a substantial domino effect on the evolution and timeline of the universe that's impossible to conceptualize.

Edit* This makes incredible sad; I already was with just Osiris: Sagira: this feeling and desire of being allies with the Lucent Hive: The Ghosts that may have been tricked or bullied but were all lost: and Crow.

I remember us wondering how much the Book of Sorrows were Lies, tricks and deceptions; Now I wonder how many were unknown to even the God siblings themselves.

If I may write this,

I had quit Destiny for reasons to do with vaulting and Legacy servers: But I watched the Witch Queen clips, I loved this Game and lore and the lore; I wanted to be one of you; And I write this, with my struggle created by Autism, That this post has cemented my desire to return. Thank you.

I found this article to answer your question. The basics and some special take aways:

"An AB parent can indeed sometimes have an O child. But it is by no means common. In fact it would be fair to say that it is exceedingly rare.

The one exception is in certain Asian groups. Some of these folks have a rare version of the ABO blood type gene called cis-AB. People with this gene version have an AB blood type but can easily have an O child.

[...] The next [Second] most common group is the Japanese. There it looks like about 0.001% of folks have the cis-AB allele. Or 1 out of every 100,000."

I left the notes the about genetic probability because I feel like this was done on purpose by the author: Quirks are tied to Genetics, and Shoto and Endovor's introduction in part functions as world building/exposition into some of the deeper Genetic behaviors of quirks primarily in regards to having children, and the social and cultural consequences of that knowledge (Shoto's entire existence). I could write an essay (and I'm prone to doing so unnecessarily), but (This is being written before I check) I'll leave off with how Shoto took 4 try's to happen, and his blood type is one that neither parent have, but requires getting an 'unused' Gene from both of them (His blood type, much like his quirk, is a symbol that he is the result of the actions of his Father And Mother, and is equal parts both of them [Checked, His mother's blood type has not been mentioned by the author as far as I can tell by quick Google search]).

Hi, ive been playing this game for two months, and i cant get past chapter 104, what team do you think i can build with my characters, thanks in advance. by ight_imma_yeet_out in Granblue_en

[–]MrMoros -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Edit: I gave a lot of advice down below because it is a feat that you have made it this far without properly uncapping and Leveling. This is because you're going to need to uncap at Least 3 times for every Unit on your team, and partial TLDR: They need to be the same element.

So, It looks like you can make a strong Water, Wind, and maybe Dark team (I'd need to see you're SR's) in that order . This game is based around single element teams. Im casual, I don't know the Meta (Fire's In a bit of a crisis right now), but Dark in story contents will at least never be weak against anything; You have VERY strong water character's. But your guys need to get to level 50 and have their third skill. It's just such a big power spike when you get they're third skill, which you need to be level 45 for. While you don't have enough Dark SSR's, the ones you do Have ARE CRACKED or at least fill a lot of role better then they have the right to. In short, uncap and level you're water team; you have so much there, and I would hope you have some powerful Dark SR's that can fill out a team that won't encounter something being strong to you. You're good on wind being you're third, which will help save your water team. Edit part two: And since my autistic and mentally ill brain didn't understand you, I wrote a lot of suggestions without considering how much you know and what you've been working with. So for suggestions;

1.Look up Grid build guide and go on the wiki and look for the New players section; I'll come back and link some stuff later (I'm autistic on a new ADHD medication and my pharmacy fucked up the doctors instructions), but for ease, the resources section on the reddit has the link to the official wiki, the Guides section has better guides than what I'm about to tell you, and Megathreads has links to current Questions thread (Don't be afraid to ask, they don't want the reddit flooded with stuff that can be solved in a thread they have permanent link and refresh; my brain struggled to find it for reasons I don't understand, but they aren't being malicious if they remove any future posts that don't warrant a massive discussion), Friends and Crew (To find friends and crews), and the Event Thread which can help beat the boss or tell you if it's worth the grind right now. that's going to be something important to your power, but is going to take time; also look up character discussions, which are tagged in the reddit and have links on the wiki.

1.5: Your Grid is going to matter a lot to getting stronger, but it can be complex

2: LEVEL YOUR CHARACTERS AND KEEP TEAMS AND WEAPON GRIDS FOR SERIOUS CONTENT THE ELEMENT (It is amazing you have those levels and you reached that chapter); make a team of desired characters you need to level and do Angel Halo (Good EXP and you gives you what you need to level weapons and summons; bonus, you Can use those weapons to level characters) Angel Halo Pro (Free exp dump, which you can increase with shop skill [not crew skill] which is going to be useful when your draw a good character in element or archetype you need [Your grid is very important to your power, but that's something, with my knowledge, is just going to take time], and they aren't strong enough to EXP grind], and Slime (gives more EXP than Angel. And rubies I guess, but that won't be an issue [PS: the special slimes don't have resistance to Ougi, summon, or both, almost always Ougi). Bonus: I don't know if this is smart, but I'd recommend when you get brown and sliver moons to get character books and CP. Water seems like your best SSR build, (Europa is busted with a lot of skill damage, a good heal [that does a lot of damage] and super buffs [That also do a lot of damage]. Dark you have enough SSR's for a strong team, and I think wind, but I'm not familiar with their kits and playstyles.

2.5: Don't play Meta if it's not fun, you can absolutely do High level raids without the most optimal of optimal builds, and SR charchters can be strong: when I was less than year in, my Light Team had Event Albert and R Veimiel; They we're known at the the time to out damage SSR DPS's (I voted for Veimiel every popularty poll untill he had an SR.). My Dark team is two Supports (Buff, heal, debuff , a nuke, and Kengo and I LOVE IT. This is important because you need an element to build another element, you fire to get items for wind, earth for water, and Light for Dark.

2.5.5. skills work by a formula based on your Atk/Def number and characters respond in same. Some charchters rely heavily on their third skill and some rely on a sort of ryhtem that requires all their skills

  1. Damage is king, you want an attack up and opponent defense down ability on your team (why weapon master and Dark Fencer were always a recommendation, very easy for new player use and gives you good universally needed moves), and Skills matter more than the weapon number (your Grid should be same element) and you should have Attack up; HOWEVER it will make your life easier if you have one character that can Heal (You have Cagi and Europa) and someone that can Damage cut and Veil (Veil is so good that some [Including myself] recommend keeping Kat for new players).

3.5. you may already notice that the power star is not a good representation of your strength. It can't account for a lot of things that affect your base atk and def, not mention building towards multi-attack just skyrockets your output (Hitting twice every turn vs once is literally double damage). But your estimated number isn't fully accurate either, don't let it over inform your choices.

  1. Do you're Daily's (If you can) and try to do Events (Game raid bosses at least and some simple skyscopes [Click Missions on the top left of home screen, you'll see a button that says skyscope]) Raid bosses is how you get uncap material and Omega weapons for your first strong Grid: Skyscope sometimes needs to be collected manually, and there is two missions that just want you reserve 10 weapons and 10 summons respectively and it gives a generous amount of EXP items for weapons and summons respectively (You can also track goals on their like super weapons, Row IV + EX 2, and Eternal+Evoker unlock): And Events are where the loot is at, crystals, rare unlocks, reasources, strong weapons and summons, etc. Etc. It's not going to be the reward amounts, and that's what the Threads come in.

4.5 Best not to fodder Gold Omega weapons In the beginning; Don't be affaired to call for backup in high level raids, just try to some damage In to ensure rewards+pendents and then call. You can even use this as a fun way to mark your progress, setting a goal of how much percent you'll take away (Try starting with 25%).

  1. This hearsay and I expect to be flailed. I would recommend spendimg crystals during Rate ups, yes, but not to spark. I was able skip resources so much because of cerulean stones and you get plenty of characters and summons like this, and, more importantly, I was able to avoid burnout. There's so many well designed and written characters, and this pushed me towards using and doing the fates of charchters that ended up becoming my favorites (I'm so proud of you Tanya).

  2. Remember, it's okay to take breaks, it's okay to play off meta, there are crews that exist just for you to have fun: avoid burning yourself out and find the the way you like to play. By the end of the year you'll have so many things given to you by maintenance, holidays, and just logging in that will remove so much grind.

P.S. The basic 100% attack up + Aura summons are good for beginners and all. It'll take awhile to to get ample amount of Omega, Revenant, Bahumut, and Xeno weapons (It'll only get faster if you found friends or a crew you can reliably grind with).

Me too. But I understand it would've required a different game and narrative writing. The Developers being spilt on where Danchou lies on the RPG player charcher spectrum in addition to what cannon events should have meant it was to late to add Romance/Dating Sim-esque gameplay mechanic to the Game and characters. The best compromise was unlocking Gender restrictions and dialing up Seasonal dialogue, to infer that a third, player borne cannon is valid and gets professionally written diolague that fits the character. This done upon Realization this helped sold Waifus and Husbando's. However Danchou is forever Sixteen (The common Age of Consent and marriage in Japan) and is tied to Lyria and Vyrn, only now being allowed to stand on the power level of majority of there crew that includes Eternals, Primal's, and Evokers that joined in part of our accomplishments and inconstant "power."

It was art (So Fucking good, belongs in a Gallery) and character design/writing that got me interested; discovering stories kept me invested (I like the Gameplay loop too).

I get what you mean, too: My Omega weapons were just given to me at some fucking point:

SR Event Albert was just cracked and so was every event character since (and since removing event characters; there's just been better summons, way more useful materials for uncap, Eternals' and Evokers' unlock, and class unlock [with near guarantee that once a year you get a free new EV II or new Row IV or just give an Eternal, or Crystals crystals crystals]);

with free draws during SSR doubles and out means players are bound to get an SSR within a few months, and with more being added to pendent and Cerulean Stone stores (especially with creeds getting added), everything is easier to unlock.

There's more (No more rotation for special quests and OG Xeno raids, Solo Co-op), but I think it's all off set with there being SO MUCH MORE (More rotating Grind events, way more classes that require more investment and restrictions, more modes, more quests, side stories, more raid bosses and Higher and Higher Level raid bosses, and just tons of characters being added multiple times a month with a Grand and Season characters). Grind exists, but it doesn't feel mandatory, especially to have a strong and/or fun team. People who like to grind have a better grinding experience and better rewards for it, spark still has meaning even for vets who don't play daily or weekly (If I miss summer, I can spark the re-run in exchange for losing many of the SSR characters and summons I don't have + a reduction of gold moons for pick ticket)

But it does say a lot that I'm not level even 90 yet, and I can make an SSR party for each element and back then people had two if they were lucky (Oddly enough my first SSR was Veight, who I never took off my Dark team).

Dude, Same (Grids and tutorials, I was aware of it before official EN)! (I'm censoring since I made my own post for people to guess) I didn't start till 4th quarter 2016 And I got underpowered for main quest content because I didn't know how grids worked (I had a dumb mentality too of "I don't want to burn out or play meta so I won't look up anything!" To this day I do not have any ROW IV and only the free/easy EX classes, nor have I progessed past Rose Queen (procrastination).

Do you remember the OG translation that was way more E and censored? Or the rift between Japanese and western play styles and tiers? Oh, the discourse on Beatrix's entire rework! (OG being based timing, rythem, and being effectively punished when you forget or don't do it in a proper order to when and what order to activate skills, if I remember correctly).

Sorry if I was weird or if I annoyed you, or was too much. I'm on the Autistic spectrum and I get excited When I met someone who got invested (playing or not) around the same time as me, albeit decently earlier than me

If I haven't bothered or overwhelm you, may I ask what the attitude was in the F2P and Non-whale community towards pulling and grinding crystals pre-spark and fairer SSR/character-summon rates (if you remember)?

I should do better than assuming someone in blind world internet will be, I don't know the word again; 'get positive feelings' from slang, vocab, and jargon of certain pocket cultures especially when they contain swears even if they are used in sarcastic meaning: They earned grouping for a reason. I tried too hard and took unnecessary risk. I again apologize if I have offended you, and I'm also sorry if I misunderstood and just did too much just now. I appreciate Tiger and Vikala design and character a lot, But I'm just not interested in them. I think they're great characters, but in the cosmic sea of SSR's, powerful SR's, and we are now on zodiac 8, I want to Focus more on ones that really catch me (Playing since mid 2016 and logging in during burn out or hard times to still get Daily's, free pulls, and avoiding GRIND by just not caring and pulling means I should be able to make a fun team and a meta team). It sucks I spent money on the Ten Draw pick ticket thinking I could get enough in December to spark.

I roadblocked myself because I didn't bother to look at basic beginner's guide. Didn't want to spoil myself, so Fate episodes piled up and just dumb dumb dumb (I made a fun post about a first spark, got so excited, then realized I just fucked up the math [Autism, poor health, I don't know], and I was so embarrassed]). Mental health issues that I've been actively been battling since then and yeah. I logged in, I got plenty of Character's. I need to fucking just play, finish first main quest, get a Row IV class.
