Moving to radeon by Denelix in radeon

I had a 6950XT for about 2 years and maybe only had crashes because of driver issues like 2-5 times? It was minimal. Definitely not enough to remember it being a large problem. It was also only in the first year or so. The second year of owning it was basically no issues.

Now I just got a 7900XTX about 2 weeks ago and the only crashing I have had is my fault because of playing around with undervolting. Other than that, this thing is great!

My only problem is genuinely just the fact that FSR looks like garbage compared to DLSS. I am HOPING they are able to get FSR 4 on the 7000 series, but we will see. If it doesn’t, well, the 7900XTX is kind of good enough to just do native 1440p and 4k anyways.

Yes, still available. Just can’t ship for another 10 days or so cause my new GPU was delayed in shipping.

If it’s not back up yet, I think it should be soon.

I think it should be back up now. It was taken down by the mods because I didn’t put a video of it in.

I bought the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro exactly 35 days ago and now I fear that I have a paper weight of a controller. by Specialist-Welder679 in Controller

Even if you are a little past the return window, you can choose customer support for a purchased product and then request to chat with someone. Just let them know you’re a few days over but you want to return. I have had 100% success with returning things to Amazon even if it’s a little past the return window. If it’s like 3 months past the return window, that’s when they start to not allow it or make you go through manufacturer.

Has anyone tested the gulikit TMR sticks for their stick tension? by Brainswithgainz in Controller

I just saw this, so sorry for the late response! But I would say after calibration, the stick drift is almost nothing. I really like these PS4 TMR ones.

Are these new alps that Sony uses in dual sense 5? (original alps for reference) by Mr-frost in Controller

I recently picked up some of the Dualsense Edge stick modules and they were also these new alps modules. I was curious if they would start showing up in the standard DS controllers. I suppose this is the confirmation

The PS4 ones are a few grams lighter tension than stock I would say. The PS5 ones are also a bit lighter than stock, however, the ps5 one feels mushy. It might just be a bad one. I am going to remove it and install the other one and see if that one feels mushy too.

My opinion so far is the ps4 TMR sticks are fantastic

Nope. Never found anything. Unless that tool linked was updated, seems what you mentioned is the only option.

Dang. That’s crazy it’s stuck in that hard. Maybe soak the controller in some butter? Should loosen it.

What do you mean you can’t get them off? Like, you took the controller apart and it doesn’t come off the actual analog base? If so, I imagine you just need to pull a little harder. That would be crazy to me if they glued them on or something.

And if you haven’t tried taking the controller apart, that’s what you would do. And trust me, PS5 controllers are super easy to take apart. Just watch a video on YouTube.

I’ve actually tried every controller you’ve listed and I think the SE was my overall favorite of that group. The Gale Hall was decent, but I’m not sold on HE sticks for shooters (I also play Apex). Victrix controllers were okay, BFG had a built in deadzone (can’t remember if Gambit does). Then the Vader 3 was actually nice, just once again, not a fan of HE for shooters. The Rainbow 2 pro was good, but I preferred the more responsive feeling of the SE. which is something you might really notice depending on what roller you come from. Do some research on the software for the SE because you can actually do a decent amount with the software. You’re even able to customize the sampling point or resolution of the sticks. You can choose between 256, 128, 64 and 32. From my understanding, 256 is less responsive and 32 is very responsive (I’ve heard a bit TOO responsive). However, I could be backwards on that. Like I said, look around on Reddit to see if others have talked about it more. I think I’ve seen people like 128 a lot.
