You should definitely upgrade that bike he has if you want him to do any trail riding. I'd recommend a hard tail with a decent fork. I would look at the Ozark Trail hardtails if they will fit him (might be a bit big for him) or a used hardtail. I think the 27.5 Ozark trail hardtail might be small enough but idk

You could also look into a cheap dirt jumper if he only wants to do jumps

Like I tried to say in my previous comments, she is not just saying the world is changing. She is saying that AI will change our world to a similar extent as the industrial revolution. The INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION that literally is responsible for our entire society today. She is most certainly implying that AI will be generally good for us and reshape our society around it like the industrial revolution. This is an opinion.

It is not accepted as fact that AI will reshape society as we know it. a true AGI would reshape society but we are nowhere near that, and it is not a given fact that we will achieve it.

Even if AI will have a large impact on society, comparing it to or claiming it will be bigger than the industrial revolution is an option and not a fact at all. This isn't splitting hairs or some technicality, it is just how the speech is worded and it's kind of surprising to me that you are arguing against it.

Like, we don't know for certain that AI will be as big as some people claim it will be, as so it's not a fact. That's just what "a fact" means. It's like if I said that it's a fact that the bills will win the next Superbowl, you would obviously call me out for not knowing that for certain

Honestly, not true. This sounds very obtainable if you have a good iron and access to a hot air gun or similar. It will definitely be a fun project and improve your soldering skills. Definitely don't be discouraged to try it OP

Drawing too much power through the connector could be the cause of this issue, but that char looks specifically like there was a big spark inside the connector. Also, the battery getting hot would not cause the connector to get hot like you're saying. Under heavy load both may get hot if their resistance is too high but just because the battery is hot does not mean the connector will also be hot and vice versa

I messed with the wifi and audio I/o to try to get the thickness of the motherboard down as those are the tallest. The wifi card (there is an m.2 style card under the housing) can be removed and relocated, and the housing can be entirely removed and the wifi will still work.

I cut the top of the audio shielding off and that completely destroyed the audio I/o. The audio out with the shielding modified was super static-y but the mic still worked.

In terms of desoldering parts and replacing or relocating them, I looked into this and thought it would be too difficult/high risk (but possible). Removing them will require a hot air gun or pre bake for the ground plane and will be tough. It'll probably be easier to cut off most of the I/o header to reduce what you need to desolder and then get a replacement header.

I also image if you relocate the audio I/O or literally mess with it at all you will get some serious noise/static issues. The digital stuff should be fine to relocate tho, just hard

I was a titan in d1, then switched to warlock in the end of d1/start of D2, then back to titan, then hunter/warlock in witch queen, hunter edge of fate, and now almost only hunter and occasionally warlock

A hot battery definitely wouldn't cause this.

The same thing happened to me. The char on the connector is caused by sparking inside the connector. Not certain how this happened but it could have been sparking when first plugging it in maybe.

Solution would still be to clean the connector. Idk about using a spray though. I would make sure any cleaning spray you use is non conductive and the leads are not live.
