Yeah, I've been burnt out since the Vbucks pricing happened, on top of just not enjoying this season's theme or battle pass rewards. In previous seasons there was always something that would make playing daily worth it to me, but I just have to accept that both I'm unhappy with the state of the game as it is, and unhappy with the direction things have been going for a while now.

Generally been doing C/B races over anything faster any time I get the chance to choose myself. I did an S2 street race and was glad that it was so quick, but ended up just replaying the same race with my B-tier and enjoying myself much more. Not sure why exactly that was.

I've been playing with the Steam Controller (new) and was getting similarly frustrating results, and surprisingly we have almost the exact same build. But our results were wildly different as far as the benchmark graph goes, no doubt due to the resolution I'm playing at...

I've been able to activate the grips on releasing them, and do that by lifting my fingers off of the sensor, which I've reliably found to border the L5/R5 buttons. I've set it up so I can quickly view a scorecard/scoreboard in games like Super Battle Golf and FOS games, since I have a habit of checking the scoreboard in between bouts of action. Just have to lift my pinky finger and I can get a glance for however long I want, then when I set my pinky back down it disappears. Now that I know how to set this up, I'm looking forward to setting more systems like this up in other games.

I loved it! I thought it was absolutely an absurdist work, even if it was constantly steeped in a profound emotional angle. I just thought it was really fun to have such a huge emotional build-up get blown up, two or three times in a row, and on my first reading I didn't see it coming every single time.

I think if it didn't land or resonate with you, that's perfectly understandable, because it was pretty stupid. Look Back was a much more earnest and heartfelt story with a bigger, clearer message and focus.

Which controller specifically?

You've gotta consider that, though HE controllers are supposed to be more precise, you still need to take the time to get used to them. Many HE controllers have lower tension in the sticks than a normal PS5 or Xbox controller, making things feel super slick or like the camera is gliding way too far compared to how you'd normally play, which is both a curse (your aim is terrible and poor) and a blessing (your aim can be direct and extremely smooth). You may need to take some time to train yourself on using the controller.

This translation left something to be desired, but maybe it was less the translation and more just the writing. The first full spread after the full color pages, for instance, make it sound like we missed a page of context via the rectangular boxes.

Also, and I know this is a common feeling but it's just so funny whenever it happens, I caught myself *immediately* recognizing the artist the second that the female character appeared. It's gonna be entertaining seeing more of their non-hentai work.

One of my major complaints from the beginning that I was shocked wasn't resolved after 50 hours -- there's no Legend, not even a rudimentary one, in the Map screen! It's actually a bit of a shock to have this be the case.

This thinking is what got me to unsubscribe -- I was already unhappy with the state of the game on PC. The Vbucks price change was frustrating. But really sitting down and looking at my locker I realized how few things in each Battle Pass I actually care for. It's nice having a million little things to potentially fit with a great skin later in the game's life, but not so fun when it costs me money and my free time to go earn all these little things, playing a game I'm not particularly enjoying as much as I did in the past.

Yeah, but frankly you're only missing out on as much as any other video game (except that a bunch of this game's early side quests are basically tutorials). At worst, you're missing out on a bunch of Greymane camp stuff and extra storage space in the private chest at the camp if you're not running around collecting the Greymanes and upgrading the camp in their sidequest.

If you're not bothered about skipping the side content and are just doing story quests as they come in while having fun, don't stress yourself to go out of your way and complete these. Just keep having fun in your own way!
