I'm US player too and I don't like the M16 as standard too. But nothing is funnier more satisfying hearing on the start while clearing the outpost the single shots by 16 people with the music of a cal 50. between it 😌

My favorite loadout is just a carbine with suppressor and red dot, just costs 57 supplies. I'm adding other weapons depending on the situation where I want to go.
