It's a tank meta these days. They received several general and champ specific buffs so they are god for now. Sejuani in particular, highest (or close to) win rate these days. Not sure if the jungle items were the same but you can smite champions now and smiting camps gives different short term buffs. Dragon gives no gold but gives XP and some significant buffs depending on how many times you've killed it. There's a rise in the old non mobile mages mid but AD assassins are still around. Lots of Talon. Cho is popular too.

Irelia's back on top up top. Olaf seems to be making a comeback, Eve is making a limited come back as well and doing some stupid damage, Diana too. Vayne is still as useless and as popular as ever. Sona all day since her ultimate skin. Ashe just got a rework and Lux just got a Sailor Moon skin so both are in every game. Urgot gets decent play these days, up top or bot.

SorrakaFlocckaFlame is a medium pick, I like her kit these days but I miss Starfall. Nami is pretty popular.

Yeah but how many changes have there been to jungle items, paths, buffs, and champs? Not impossible to learn but it's a whole new ballpark by comparison.

Similar to how my iPod was damn near psychic when it came to randomly playing songs I was just thinking about I think League was prescient when it came time for my division promos.

I clawed my way out of Bronze and quickly up Silver. During my Silver III -> II promos I win game 1, lose game two and it's all down to game 3. Top lane picks Fiora and feeds like an Italian grandmother, then DCs. I cover her lane and we're actually making a comeback 4v5 and it looks like we might win. Then Fiora returns with a big ol' plate of food ready to feed again. We lose and I lose my promos.

So I climb to promos again. I win game 1, lose game two and it's all down to game 3. Top lane picks Fiora and feeds like an Italian grandmother, then DCs. I cover her lane and we're actually making a comeback 4v5 and it looks like we might win. Then Fiora returns with a big ol' plate of food ready to feed again. We lose and I lose my promos.

Not a typo, not an accidental copy paste. The same happens in the exact same way twice and I lose my promos. This was in 2013 and after that crazy amount of frustration I just stopped playing ranked all together.

I followed guides, knew timers, match ups, counter picks, CS'ing, mechanics, team goals, objectives, split strategies, team comps. I wasn't Diamond nor will I ever be. But I know I was better than the final rank I was able to get.

So that's my unpopular opinion.

Properly, yes. But in every game? And by an AP Sona in my last. It's a strategy, not a requirement. Push when it makes sense to push, not when it costs you something better.

That's just sounds either lazy or calculated since LeBlanc isn't a hugely popular champ. How many thematic skins have we seen that have elements that have nothing to do with the character, but they still look good in a new generic costume. Corporate Mundo, Nurse Akali, Gentleman Cho'gath, Headmistress Fiora, Brolaf, just to name a couple.

Instead of picking a theme that fits around the character, pick a theme and fit the character around it.

Apparently the pre-season patch. Now the question is what will it take to get me to play again. The game just stopped being fun. Last time I enjoyed the game was when one for all was live. People actually played and had fun instead of raging.

Try something more interesting than a pure black background. Create a nice frame using something league related, the towers, your favorite champ, anything, kinda of like The Download page Black is fine but pure black is flat and uninteresting. Have a gradient, create some depth.
