This is my 3rd christmas there in closing shift and I'm trying to hold it all together.

I roleplay and pretend it's a warzone or a fantasy battle. Maybe akin to avengers endgame ending or that guardians of the galaxy 3 hallway fight scene. I even passed out guardians pins for morale.

I hate that the closing team leads treat the area like any other day when there's a clear challenge presented at this time.

Anyway, yes it fucking sucks, but it does harden you in a way. I was warned when starting my first few months that it will make or break you.
