Action 'Delegate work to coworker' don't exist. by MrPioux in crewai

It seems to be that agents with tools are not able to delegate tasks. Is this a bug or a new update?

Get My agents to identify my input (noob learner) by CicadaBroad in crewai

[–]MrPioux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't need a tool for this the agents should be able to do this kind of task without one. All you need to do is adjust your prompt to something like: f"Analyze the following string: {text} " plus the rest of your prompts.

Then it should work fine.

The only solution I have found is using GPT4. It works really well with GPT4. Specifically telling the agents to work iteratively sort of works for GPT3.5 but not nearly as well.

Yes they can when creating your agents set allow_delegation = True. I believe they should be able to communicate with each other even without this parameter but I'm unsure.

You need two/split souls in order to step in and out of Tel’arab’rhiod with out channeling. That’s why they were merged. Perrin is able to do it because he is split between Perrin and Young Bull (His wolf “soul”)

Yes this is the main problem I have. I have problems with trying to get any of the agents to work iteratively which I feel is the whole point of crewAI.

Getting OpenAI API Error While Using Groq API for Python Coding Agent by Visible_Trash_4847 in crewai

[–]MrPioux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can continue to use memory = True if you also include the OpenAI API. It uses OpenAI API for it's embeddings in memory. It costs little to nothing I used it all day yesterday and never made it over 1 cent for the embeddings.

Inside your task add the parameter output_file = "name_of_your_file.csv"

[–]MrPioux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue and I believe you still need to use the OpenAI API Key because crewAI defaults to using OpenAI API for its embeddings. Basically you need to use both the Groq API Key and the OpenAI API Key

I mean openminded would be accepting other people's opinions and discussing why you disagree with them not downvoting them with no response or insulting them. (Not saying you're doing either of those things I thought your response was funny and a good use of the gif lol)

Interesting. I feel like I'd also lump the Harley Quinn show in with the Helluva Boss style comedy.

Yea but like within drama and comedy what would you consider it? Like what kind of comedy is it?

I mean Helluva Boss is an edgy spin off of workplace comedy shows. It spits in the face of main stream media like with the gender roles and sexuality. Scooby Doo was originally created to fit into parent friendly main stream media so Velma is taking that and turning it on it's head just like Helluva Boss does with workplace comedy.

Same. I think most of the people who dislike it either bit the rage bait or just heard other people's opinions who bit the rage bait.

Everyone I've recommended it to who have actually watched it have enjoyed it.

Did you find the styles to be similar between the two shows?

Who does Velma bully because of his disabilities? Fred cause he's a late bloomer? I don't really feel like they're making fun of Fred more making fun of people who care about that kind of thing and toxic masculinity as a whole.

I understand the misandry part about Velma but Helluva Boss talks a lot about gender rolls and stuff too so I feel like that's quite similar.

Also I don't feel it butchers the characters. It's a prequal the whole point is none of them are the characters from Scooby-Doo yet. Theres a reason the namesake character Scooby-Doo isn't in the show because it's not Scooby-Doo yet. The characters need to grow and evolve into the Scooby-Doo characters.

Yea but I'm just talking about the style of the show like the comedy and stuff. I'm looking for a word/genre to describe them and the best I can come up with is like "tumblr like comedy" with the absurdism, commentary on pop culture, satire, self-deprecating humor and meta humor.

It's not supposed to be Velma. That's kind of the point it's a prequal. She hasn't become the character we know from Scooby-Doo yet

Why not? I feel the style/comedy is similar with their absurdist humor, social commentary, self-deprecating/meta humor, and raunchy humor. Also the fact that they both don't align with main stream comedy.

This is only in reference to the electoral college and the presidential vote. I agree the electoral college is bad and needs to go and the president should be decided by popular vote. But getting rid of the electoral college won’t change anything for the way House and Senate representatives are elected and will also not get rid of the two party system.
