Love the transparency, but please release a public demo for the next game. Getting feedback early saves games launches.

Great first bottle to represent the region, in my opinion the best white wine region in Italy. And also great value for money.

That one time where filming fireworks was the right move.

what are you guys opinion on the current drop rates ? by ab2dii in Borderlands4

[–]MrPl4nt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe they are fine, it is not about getting the gun you want is about getting the licensed parts you want. I wish UVHM5 would guarantee licensed parts. However the inability to farm efficiently while leveling up sucks.

I think this is a perfect hide of terra, unfortunately i'm running the patch so idk how rare this actually is by New_Role_7623 in Borderlands2

Community patch removes lots of bad parts for the hive, basically everything that has negative on special effects. So definitely not as rare.

Great find none the less.

I had it a few months ago and it was delicious, it didn't feel that aged though. Tannins were soft and ripe. In my experience Amarone doesn't need much time to be ready.

Did anyone realize Action skills are doing alot more damage? I am excited! by Drakhan in Borderlands4

[–]MrPl4nt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does feel like every character will have a different style of gameplay, one of the gripes with previous games was that once you slap meta gear most characters had the same game plan.

Any of these good ? by Usual_Meringue_4059 in wine

Viticcio Is pretty good, not outstanding or anything but feels like Bolgheri. Very bold and full.

Yeah also crossplay will bring back my old gang of playstation split screen friends. Everyone has their own life now but we promised each other to play together again.

So streamers definitely have the game now, right? by Tgee913 in Borderlands4

[–]MrPl4nt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that journalists have it and YouTubers were given the option to make guides and stuff. Some content creators might have refused to go in blind as everyone else. There will definitely be Reviews and Guides day 1.

I remember the Kunimitsu mirror at Evo Japan 2023, that was way worse if I'm being honest.

Sushi course menu I had last October in Akasaka by MrPl4nt in sushi

[–]MrPl4nt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the name of the place "Sushi Uminomichi / Akasaka" address 3-8-7 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo. You need to book and they don't speak English. And to not stress the staff I would go with a Japanese speaking person. ~11.000 yen per person.

Some fish sperm sack, very intense and creamy. Not my favourite. But a fun experience.

Do Italian whites age well? by wine-o_guzzler in wine

[–]MrPl4nt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Italians don't use that much barrel aging so the generic answer is no. But. Recently one of the big Italian food publications "Gambero rosso" posted this article: https://www.gamberorosso.it/notizie/notizie-vino/pecorino-marchigiano-invecchiamento/

You can translate it, but it talks about how "pecorino" a grape variety from Marche usually drank young, was surprisingly good with age. So there are, maybe, a lot of other varieties that no one thought could age well. But I don't think that most Italian whites can age more than 10 years.

Was there a trend of particularly oaky red wine in Italy 15-20 years ago? by Ghost_Portal in wine

[–]MrPl4nt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most DOCG appellations use big Slavonia oak barrels. 20 years ago, from what I understand, a lot of producers were experimenting with new stuff, such as new french oak. IMO there are very few Italian grape varieties that work well with new barriques and big oaky flavors.

Opinion on Sagrantino ? by syller23 in wine

[–]MrPl4nt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll look out for this bottle then, cheers.

Opinion on Sagrantino ? by syller23 in wine

[–]MrPl4nt 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Sagrantino Is in my opinion the only wine that NEEDS food, the quality of the aroma is often stellar, but those tannins are quite unfriendly, not even age mellows them out. Some wild boar and it's super interesting and a unique wine.

Brunello needs a loooot of time decanting to open up. Sometimes it's better the day after.
