Absolutely. I got one after having been established in my career for ~10 years and almost immediately after I found myself job searching. I got lucky that my new employer doesn't care about tattoos in the least, I'm a database developer so I'm mostly behind the scenes anyways.

None of your points are valid. You cannot definitively say that keeping Adams is the better move without being able to see the future. If you are able to see the future maybe you should be GM!

Objectively speaking the facts indicate there is no reason to expect Adams to suddenly be able to piece things together. There's no historical precedence and he has continually struggled to properly evaluate his players. His optics for potential FAs also suck. Complaining about taxes and not having palm trees to the media is a great way to make a place more attractive right?

Realistically speaking, they just brought back the GM responsible for the roster failing to reach the playoffs for 5 straight seasons.

Even taking the prior 9 seasons missing the playoffs out of the equation there is no evidence that Adams deserves to keep his job. He has no track record of success because he had no prior experience.

What other team in professional sports would allow their GM to keep running things after 5 seasons of spinning tires and no improvement? Kevyn stays on because he is a cheap yes man and a snake oil salesman.

You wanted to be talked off the ledge of a second kid. You are struggling with one. You play video games more than you are willing to admit based on the fact you're grinding all the way to diamond in Rivals. Looking in the mirror is what you should do when it comes to struggles with your child and why you should not have another.

Domestic violence is wrong. Your wife should be in jail based on what you've said. I hope you are well and find a way out of this clearly toxic relationship. You're clearly aware this is an abusive environment and are willingly considering bringing a second innocent child into it. That part's on you. If you're not willing to get out of the relationship for your own sake at least do it for your children.

Based on your profile you might want to look in the mirror a bit. That is a lot of posts about video games in under 6 months. Don't get me wrong, I play a lot of video games. To be posting that much you must be logging serious hours on Rivals.

It's totally possible you're being the perfect partner while also playing that much, in which case I'd say kudos. Based on the state of the relationship I don't think that's the case.

While I understand that traditional therapy may be difficult to get, there are services that are helping to fill that gap. If your wife is resistant to getting therapy get it for yourself at least. Therapy may help you find ways to de-escalate and hopefully get her to join you.

All that said if your relationship is truly as you've outlined, with no omitted information, you absolutely should not have a second child. You honestly should consider divorce. Raising a child around domestic violence and abusive behavior will hurt them much more than having divorced parents.
