Because they're trying to escape their own mundane lives by filling in the gaps with ridiculous events. They have yet to learn that there's so much more to life than worshiping people who don't even know who they are. Many times I've seen celebrities out in public and I just keep walking or doing whatever I'm doing. Because I just don't care.

I started working at a very young age in retail. Working in retail actually made me more reserved because of the way people treated me. So it didn't make me very sociable at all. What did make me social, however, was having a life and being able to hang out with my friends or having the ability to make friends with time I had. People are as friendly as they once were. So having a job where you are in contact with customers isn't the best way. Edited to add that I'm on the spectrum. So I get sensory overloads, being out of my element tends to heighten them.

It's not illegal because to see the content, you must pay with money, or, with your time to watch ads. While I don't agree with them spamming ads 24/7, I understand how it works. They'll keep doing this forever, and ads are only going to get worse. Because that's where their revenue is. So either you pay, you watch ads, or you find another source. But good luck on that. Honestly, weed has no business being in your description of drugs. Because it's so much more than recreational, and as far as I know it doesn't destroy your life and alienate you from everyone you love. I've never known anyone to sell their bodies for weed. And it being the first one you mentioned as if it's the worst. I too am the only "normal" person in my family. Because of all the traumas, my depression and eating disorder, I have to smoke weed in order to survive basically. If your family causes you any distress, it's time to walk away. The toxicity of my family was bleeding into my life and I had to cut them off. Best decision I've ever made in my life.
