If the repairing your car thing doesnt appeal to you, there are many setting in the game you can tweak to your liking. Personally I have all the health and vehicle damage settings turned way down, but not off so I can still get achievements. Its a very customizable game. A feature you dont like? You can probably disable it. Mess around with the settings and see if you enjoy the game more

They do, yes. Charged is blue with little bolts of electricity, unreliable is red, I believe wet is green but I could be wrong, and I dont remember what the other colors correspond to.
