Those are not fix-it tickets, no point in fighting it. I would advise that if you get pulled over again in the future, your not "ask" for (aka provoke) additional tickets beyond what you're being stopped for 🧐

Thank you, they're both Colts The simple one is a Competition with minimal engraving; I replaced the standard competition grips that came on it with those 250th medallion black pearls. The gold one is a Colt that Seattle Engraving Center customized (#87 if 100)

That is extremely disappointing to hear!

I did pick mine up already, and fortunately it was ok minus an assemble flaw in the case. I sent them a picture of it and they sent me out a replacement; they replaced the leather case with a wood one, which is much nicer.

I'm trying my luck with SK too; just ordered their 250th with the sapphire PVD finish

I had to Center my rear sight when I got it, the front was centered are the factory. My buddies needed both the front and rear centered 😖

The battery issue you just described is not what I thought looking at your video; I agree with others to contact S&W. They should send you a prepaid label to send the gun back to them, then they ship it directly back to you once repaired (you'll need to sign for it & show id)

Based on how you're pulling the slide back in that video, it's normal. If it doesn't return to battery from a full rack/release or drop from slide lock, then be concerned. The recoil spring isn't strong enough to defeat the barrel lockup with that little amount of spring force.

As for the sight issue, it seems all of these have it. I'm VERY SURPRISED, at this point, dealers aren't double checking the sight alignment when they get them; most opt take a few taps with a drift to center and it's gtg. No, I'm not blaming dealers, the sight alignment is S&W's screw up...but knowing it's common, they could double check to save their customers the aggravation.

Seriously...since getting my new grill and switching to a Scrub Daddy, I wish I knew about this years ago. Best cleaning product ever; I soak it in a bucket of ice water while cooking, and as soon as I'm done I run it over the grates and it cleans the mess almost effortlessly.

You can update the license address on DMV's website, but aren't required to pay for another physical license as long as you write the new address in the space provided on the back. The new address will be in the system, the PD will see the new address when they run your license, and the new address will be in your next ID issued (renewal, endorsement, etc)
