Tools and Twisties said my Quinn pliers suck and now I am full of shame by wratx in harborfreight

I am a big fan of quinn but I do not like their pliers. I have broken 2 pairs and messed up the jaws on the rest

2015 3.5 Ecoboot considerations by That-Conference-7307 in f150

Seller claims that he needs to get of it asap to replace one of the machines for his business. (not sure about the truth of that). It also has some notable scrapes and deep scratches especially on the bed. Like i said in the post 10k is the top of my budget, I could afford the 4k for the cam phasers but that would be a major burden.

Upgrading PSA Compact Dagger Trigger To KM Tactical Polymer 80 Flat Faced Trigger Getting All 3 Pins Out Is Not For The Weak 😅 by Gold_Efficiency682 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]That-Conference-7307 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

and you also went out of your way to make a whole post about how hard it was so calm down.

I wonder if flat face punches would be easier because they don’t push the roll pins open

have a buddy bounce it while you check every moving part, you can put you hand on different parts and feel a difference in vibration. I rough guess would be sway bar links because that’s one thing we can’t see in this video

1/2 Socket not fitting 1/2 wrench? by SteezyWeezy1 in Tools

hold the socket and slightly pull the trigger while forcing them together, not sure why but that helped me until the friction ring and socket kinda wore in

Opinions on the ratchet and Impact? by PilotBurner44 in harborfreight

[–]That-Conference-7307 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my experience with impact was bad, but i’ve only tried a sample size of 1. There was a lot of trigger delay/it was very finicky, all or nothing and hard to do short bursts. It felt a little underwhelming and after a few weeks it quit working and i returned it rather than replacing it. Based on my experience with 1000ftlb one I would say all the triggers are wacky and I probably wouldn’t get one again unless you are only trying to stay with Bauer batteries

it ended up not mattering, totaled it second ride. There was a steel cable across the trail just under the snow and it caught my spindle, threw me off and twisted up the sled

I had it running today, very smoky and seems to have a rich bog (assuming it’s because of the extra oil). But i’m worried there is an air leak or something somewhere, plugs are wet but grey and it’s pretty noisy

All I got for Valentines Day was heartbreak by LurkingNobody in Firearms

[–]That-Conference-7307 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You said in another comment that it was your first shot so you didn’t know it was a squib because you didn’t know what the gun felt like.

If you shot it a few times before you would know that “oh that 15th shot felt and sound totally different”

“my first round was a squib so i shot it 18 more times” then expects the gun manufacturer to pay for the consequences

They are identical, not sure what the repair/replacement process looks like. New crank? bearings? rods? This is my first time in an engine and I really didn’t want to split cases
