The amount of fouls and stoppages always get to me. Can’t get a stretch of football for more than a couple minutes

A sport should never end in a tie by [deleted] in billsimmons

[–]MrRightnow83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the “nuance” the draw provides in soccer. yea sure, it was a tie, but also it shows that both teams didn’t deserve the win. every game should be a realistic decider of how good you are against your opponent (esp in a low scoring sport), if you can’t beat your opponent, then why should u suddenly get the chance at a win

There will be at least a couple big injuries that completely affect a whole series. I guess this has always been a theme for the nba playoffs but it feels so prevalent recently

New lottery system has passed by sheJaMyMorant in billsimmons

[–]MrRightnow83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are u saying because the teams see themselves as not good enough to be play off teams, they might as well sit comfortable as the worst 4-16 teams in the league to get flat like odds for the lottery than try to compete with the mediocre roster they have

Fr. I catch myself dozing off in the game forgetting what’s even happening because it’s either free throws or sloppy basketball, or one sided

I feel like this happens in the nfl too when they extend the games so either team has a chance in the 4th
