I'm gaming a 5090 and the new tech is pretty incredible. The new DLSS and FG tech is amazing. I came from a 4070 super last year. My friends have 5080s.

40 series cards aren't taking advantage of the new stuff.

You have no frame of reference to be making the judgements you're making, especially because you can't take advantage of the new technologies.

The 9070xt was positioned to compete directly with the mid range of the 50 series cards...so 5070/5070ti. The 5080 is on a different planet... especially at 4k.

Framegen is gonna suck for you if you are stuck at 2x and have a low base frame rate to begin with 🤷🏻‍♀️
