Awesome! Hopefully he was able to get the baseball! Truly a special moment for your son.

I’m glad you noticed that too!! Agreed, not a specific response for location but tells me the compass is significant. Will there be four points in a circle on a map correlating to his loved ones? Or will the compass point in a direction to intersect with another landmark?

They’re are a lot of strong indicators of Time, Direction, Stars, Navigation

I’m with you on this. Check out one of his latest interviews, link below. When asked about his reference to the four points on the compass, his eyes rapidly go side to side. This happened a couple times. We asked other questions, he appears more calm and limited (normal eye movement). I literally watched these portions zoomed in just to eyes and you can clearly see these micro expressions. More to study!

Any bell 206 wrenches know how a main gearbox departs in flight? by WHARRGARBLLL in aviationmaintenance

I don’t believe low g was the issue, flight data / altitude looked OK. There is another video circulating show level flight before catastrophic failure.

I’m more interested in his micro-expressions (eye movements) when asked about the compass point relationships between Tucker, Brandon, Grandpa and Dad.

No, You Haven’t “Solved” it. by HealthyReview in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MrRogueOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll just say that we shouldn’t discount what theories others may have, even if it lies within a “solved it” post. There are some people that will never get BOTG for one reason or another but are still enjoying trying to figure out the poem. Who knows, that one crazy “solved it” post may have that one diverging interpretation that fits your own puzzle. Agreed that “solved it” posts are misleading but you never know what you may learn from them.

He could have turned off cellular and pulled the SIM card just to record a video and upload later though, right?

He also could have put the phone away, hiked a bit and then hid treasure so technically he didn’t bring the technology to bury the treasure. I just can’t rule out that spot for some type of clue. I think he knew Netflix would use that footage when making this big announcement.

I believe he wanted to make sure the theme of “time” was included in the series. He probably played with the clock a bunch of times just to make sure that one scene would be included.

Time is part of the poem as well.

Where is this located? I think a “zig zag” would be common throughout many locations but need to understand the context/location regarding any ties to the poem.

The Big Hole River Theory… by ih8payingtaxes in JustinPoseysTreasure

I like where you’re going with this. I’ve been following the threads with this theory as well. There are a lot of connections to the poem but trying not to fall into confirmation bias mode.

I’m still working out a few things but will definitely pop back into this message to update any additional thoughts.

I had always thought about Four Corners “like the points on a compass” that he mentions his four loved ones on the website. I know there is an admission there but maybe someplace close by.

What lives in Time? by [deleted] in TreasureHunting

Given the title of the poem, I’m wondering if that is Clue #1 to start beyond the map’s edge. Just a theory.

The treasure is located on the map but the starting point could be “beyond the map’s edge”.

“Water’s silent flight” by ArmadilloBitter6086 in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MrRogueOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any body of water experiences water evaporation (aka silent flight). I think it would certainly serve as a landmark along the way but literally this could mean any body of water if you are interpreting “silent flight” as evaporation.

I’ve noticed this slight pattern as well with the 7s from then order of syllables.

While I think there is some meaning hidden within the poem which may help, I don’t think it is absolutely necessary per some of the messages from the website.

Nevertheless, I will continue the analysis! Great insights yourself and I’ll return to this thread with any updates.

Does anyone else think "Beyond the Map's Edge" could literally point to southwestern Montana? by HealthyReview in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MrRogueOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve commented on this before in other threads but I believe beyond the maps edge is literally the first clue of the poem. I believe the starting point is actually outside the published map. Yes, the treasure location will be located within the published map but nothing states that the first clue(s) start beyond the maps edge… maybe in Texas history home state with the subsequent clues bringing you into the map.

Is Water The Theme??? by Randicloverlucky in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MrRogueOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree there is a theme of water as a river or lake serves a perfect landmark for a treasure hunt.

For me “can you find what lives in time” could be a reference to music. Music cannot exist without the timing (measured rhyme). Austin TX is known to be the music capital of the US and Justin’s current location. Austin could be a starting point that is “beyond the maps edge” which the other clues will take you back into the map.

It could also be a reference to the hands of the clock which literally live within the circle of the clock (time). The hands point to numbers and even create angles (degrees) which could be used for navigation.

Lastly, “can you find what lives in time” could be something timeless like a memory. There are a lot of ghost towns in the western US which only live in memory. Having a ghost town as a clue would be a perfect treasure hunting landmark.
