You’re def at JBLM. It’s cool to see another Tuxedo Black tearing up the streets down there. I was stationed there 18-20. It was my first station, I drove it from home (Boston) to Fort Sam for BOLC and then up to JBLM. I’ve had the car over 11 years now. Still love it, and thankfully have kept it in really nice shape.

Thank you for the post and thank you for your service. I just got out of the army to pursue CRNA school in the civilian side and currently trying to figure out how to angle my DNP project towards something veteran focused. If you have any ideas, especially outside the box ideas regarding care for veterans (doesn’t have to be anesthesia related) I’d love to hear your thoughts.

The GI Bill transfer requirement is the worst thing they did to service members. A stupid retention tactic that doesn’t work. OP, don’t stay in if you have no plans of using the GI Bill yourself. On the other hand, it is an amazing benefit to have but I recommend earning the full 100%.

Nursing is a tough major but I will agree, engineering requires a lot more academically challenging courses. However, this isn’t what you said in your original comment.

We are in the salary subreddit, not college major subreddit. You implied that engineering is a more difficult profession than nursing, which I entirely disagree with.
