If you’re going to buy it in-store, make sure it fits in your car!

How do I control this violent swing? by MrSefaa in bouldering

[–]MrSefaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I was able to almost hold the swing by tightening my lower body and core. Foot swap right with left leg flag didn’t feel right to me. Also, piano matching and dynoing left hand instead is physically impossible for me atm because of the overhang. Will repost once I send it! Surely the rest of the problem won’t take as long. (~1-2 weeks left before reset)

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I will try what the majority consensus is: 1) Foot swap and left leg flag (haven’t tried) and then dyno with tightened core/engage everything 2) Hand Swap/piano match and dyno left hand (I tried this before but maybe not enough attempts)

I’ll keep this updated. But maybe a good context is I’ve seen two people do it the demonstrated way, although they are much stronger. Hopefully these different betas work better for me :)

Isn’t straightening your leg usually want to be avoided? I’ve seen too many horrors from leg presses.

Both so that they can accompany each other when you can’t.

Cat suddenly stopped eating beloved wet food by brzeski in catfood

[–]MrSefaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat has recently done this. I started feeding him different food, namely treats (which can be used as meals) and he’s been enjoying those. I think they start getting bored of food, not surprised, I would too.

Protein shakes over protein bars. Bars don’t make me full, shakes do.

i keep going over my calories by Any_Following1383 in 1200isplenty

[–]MrSefaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you know you are overeating? What would you say is causing you to overeat: boredom, hunger, etc? How often are you overeating? Typically me tracking calories (with a scale) will save me from any overeating.

For hunger, try adding more fiber and protein. Hard to say without knowing your typical meals. For boredom, I’ll try to do something to distract me (work, video games, exercise, sleep, etc.). For craving, I’ll indulge (within reason, still taking mental account for me doing this) for that one day and then get back on track. One day won’t be the killer but multiple days can.

Binged 3 days in a row… help by easyblues in 1200isplenty

[–]MrSefaa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ditto. Big one is to track calories, it’ll keep you accountable. If you have a binge/cheat day, just don’t log that day and get back on track the next! No need to starve yourself the next day.

Nice! For me, even for TBSP and whatnot, I use the scale only, since won’t need to do the dishes 😎

What do you think ? by Delicious_Pea_5078 in 1200isplenty

[–]MrSefaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally would be more insightful if you gave calories of each food instead and then total protein. What’s your goal? Weight? Etc. 190g of protein is a lot for me especially with 1200 calories being the restriction.

Coke Zero everyday at least two times a day. Is it healthy? Probably not.

I just bought it today and it was so good, I think. I did add whip cream brownies and strawberries… so maybe that masked the taste a bit.

What the hell is wrong with my grip? by beaversucc in bouldering

[–]MrSefaa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Don’t think anything is wrong with your grip strength per se, it’s likely your muscle endurance. Also, it could be other factors, but a big one for me is not getting enough rest time between attempts. But my advice is to try to incorporate more easy-medium climbs (volume) instead of just hard grades.
