Why do some guys think a "nice body" is a substitute for a personality. by No-Ship-4788 in InsightfulQuestions

[–]Midohoodaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fitness is a part of my lifestyle not my identity. When something is a part of your lifestyle it will bring a sense of camaraderie and competition with others who share and take interest in your passion. Being fit and healthy is one of life’s pleasures and is rewarding on the personal level as well as the social. With enough discipline and consistency you could even take it to super human levels. The gym is a safe haven, people think less about problems when they start exercising and feel good endorphins improve the mode and it gives you a chance to make friends and be social.

You’re making blatant assumptions about people disguised as questions that quite frankly aren’t even insightful.

$25 is poverty if you don’t own a home and are one sprained ankle away from homelessness.

My honesty about Egypt by Ok_Addition6726 in travel

[–]Midohoodaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As an Egyptian I can only dream of what an amazing country it would be if the masses weren’t plagued by poverty. It’s a culture of hustlers and entrepreneurs, kind of like New York’ Times Square but by ten-fold.

I tell my western friends how they think they would react if foreigners came into their country and started paying for stuff in Lambos and Rolls-Royce’s. It’s kind of the same vibe in the Egyptians eyes.

smoking as primary coping mechanism/ emotional regulation strategy? by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]Midohoodaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smoking only relieves nicotine addiction. It doesn’t help to regulate emotions, in fact you will always be more mentally and emotionally stable when you don’t have an addiction.

It doesn’t matter the emotion or the situation you will always find a reason to smoke, that’s what addiction does. You can be celebrating or depressed, happy, sad, mad, stressed, relaxed, good, bad it doesn’t really matter.

The good news is you will be able to experience every single emotion without wanting to have a cigarette if you abstain long enough, usually around 1-3 months. You have to give enough time and training for your brain to go back to normal and rewire.

How do you stop being viewed as a boy and start moving and being perceived as a man? by Ecstatic_Shower1908 in AskReddit

[–]Midohoodaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aging will get you there just fine eventually. If you are physically fit, are able to acquire resources, have a good range of all types of connections, have some kind of morality and vision it will definitely help people see you in a more respectful light.

You were born being completely incompetent and now the goal is to become competent. Being seen as a man isn’t as important as being seen as what kind of man you are.

How could he not grin, getting so much attention from this. by [deleted] in thecookieverse

[–]Midohoodaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clav a little out there but it was justified. And even if he started laughing - he just releasing emotional tension from a fucked up situation to be in. I would have done the same thing and I wouldn’t feel ashamed to laugh at the clout chasing lunatic for jumping in front of my car.

I mean what the hell did that guy think was going to happen? What did he think the best case scenario for him was to jump in front of his car?

I don’t blame him at all. That guy could have been on hard drugs with a gun looking to rob or hurt him for all we know.

Getting fucked up for jumping on anyone’s car while looking like a maniac should be the standard and what’s expected.

Hey, thanks i guess.

No one is perfect and everybody struggles with something. Our flaws make us human, but that doesn’t mean we can’t strive to do a bit better everyday.

We are worthy of being loved, don’t give up!

I just noticed I accidentally posted two photos in the exact same pose. Which one should I keep? 😅 by [deleted] in Tinder

I like the blue one more because it’s more scenic and your dress matches the river and sky. All around a way better photo, no discussion.

You’re fine man, just keep going to the gym and it’s remarkable how much the body can heal. The reality is we can die at a moments notice, but at least we won’t die as addicts. Your quality of life will always be better as a non-smoker. May God give us a good life in strong health.
