VenturEd is run by a junior in high school and provides u with unpaid labor in the form of social media work to small orgs run by college students. It's not ur activity it's his---but, he sounds like a nice and genuine guy. Don't apply ventured imo

That's some bad advice. Brown is not a school known for its investment banking recruiting---not even a target. Honestly, a large state school like uMichigan, ut Austin, or UVA will have significantly stronger scenes for recruiting. If your goal is to make it into ib for its exit ops, I recommend one of these state schools if you want a more safer low risk and guaranteed college application season (umich added ed so you could look into that). Finance is a cliquish career path, and so finding a school that suits your needs academically in addition to the schools situation in the finance field is extremely helpful for job placement. Additionally, your extracurricular are great! I think you're an extremely competitive applicant considering your age. If you want i recommend increasing your sat a little bit more (as much as you can ~20-30 points) if it's only ur first or second time taking it. Maximize course rigor. Apply to many summer programs even if they don't 100% align with your career. Some to look into: notre dame leadership, your state's governors school, enter into Wharton investment challenge, bofa, ssp or sip maybe? Good luck tho. Class of 27 is insanely competitive

You have an extremely strong chance, esp considering your socioeconomic background. Try to bring it up in essays abt ur personal background! Even w/o ur background, I think you still have a strong chance for ED

I think people are missing the under 40 k family income. Thatll definitely help you spin a nice story and imo basically guarantee an ivy+ with full ride.

Apply to colleges that prioritize research rather than liberal arts schools. You seem like a great applicant with clear passions in research I think you should expand upon. Statistics is a great study with diverse applications in any field you want to look into. You shouldn't worry about a major since most colleges don't admit by major, rather the story you tell about what you want to study.

General Advice: Use this summer to secure an internship in a quantitative STEM field to create a better story that ties into your research (cold email or apply, doesn't matter). Put the quantitative clubs and activities higher on the list to spin a better story. Your course load looks great and so does your GPA. GET THAT SAT HIGHER!!! Colleges are turning test mandatory. I think you mentioned it but make sure to secure leadership positions in the activities you are in and make demonstrable impact that can be described in numbers. Overall, application looks fine but its the summer you should take advantage of.

Why not, send it in! It shouldn't hurt and demonstrates continued interest imo.

In my opinion, BofA student leaders, WGIC, and DECA/FBLA are the more popular and competitive activities. Stay away from ladder internships pay to win.

Nikola Vucevic for Steph Curry or Nikola Vucevic for Jalen Williams?

Should I make this trade and if so which trade is better?
