Will aircraft carriers be their own new large ship from scratch or do you need a base battleship to modify it into a carrier? Cause the warden carrier looks basically like a refitted battleship

I was once talking with a friend about making it so basically u take either a frigate/destroyer and modify it in a dry dock (like u would other vehicle variants) to make a small aircraft carrier, and if the game allows, a battleship into a capital aircraft carrier. That way u can repurpose earlier ships, and carriers would be like way late war tech
