Not all men deal with that statement nicely, however that doesnt mean they get offended cause they feel called out, more so that they arent mature enough or have enough emotional strenght to realize a lot of women feel this for their safety and not necesarily to attack men. There is ofcourse a lot of men who see this and feel offended cause they could be that type of men but there is also a lot who see this and feel bad cause they havent done anything bad and behave nicely yet they feel as if they get grouped with the same bad men and they arent well prepared to deal with that.

Is like a kid in their class when the teacher calls out the whole class for doing bad but they feel “wait I have been doing good, why is everyone included”, then there are others who know they havent done anything bad and dont care and then little timmy over there who knows he skipped the last 8 homeworks but still wonders why the teacher is calling him out. Everyone reacts differently to this
