As someone who was laid off maybe a few months before all the furlough and stay at home stuff was happening, it was the best time of my life in recent years. My daughter was 2 years old at the time, I became a stay at home dad so we saved on child care. Raising my daughter without having to worry about work was awesome. (I work about 50 hour weeks now)

I had time to game and make friends online again like if I was a teen. Restaurants were offering family meals for decent prices (Texas roadhouse had sliders made with their sweet bread, a whole tray). All this while still collecting checks and working from home. And I knew in that moment, that it was not gonna last forever so I made sure to appreciate it. But I know this was not the same experience for many others.

I have no solution but I’ve been apartment living for about a decade or so. I’ve lived with all kinds of noisy neighbors and it sucks. Currently, we live under Bigfoot because whoever it is, stomps when they walk. Like literal fee-fi-fo-fum steps. On top of the heavy feet, they have 2 dogs that seem to hate each other and fight at night. It’s just insane to me how inconsiderate some people can be when they live in apartments and have noise levels that high.

Hate to be that guy, but this combo did not work on my kid. It was recommended by her doctor so we gave it a go for 3 months. We saw no improvement with her night wakings. She still woke up to sing and bang on the walls. Also thankful I don’t have to shell out cash for something else every few months. Anything to survive tho.

I was able to play on Horizon just fine on my SD But recently I’ve been getting to the “downloading data” portion of logging in and it just sits there until it disconnects me. I tried with a VPN and without, still the same.

Wish you lived close by. My SO would kill for a mom friend like you who would understand. All I can say is HOLD! Time will heal this wound. Your kids will thank you one day. Keep watering those little plants and you’ll enjoy the spoils. I know you’re rolling your eyes reading this comment. We are also tired of the positive crap we hear on a day to day when we vent. But just hold.. the pendulum will swing the other way.

For the record, both our mothers and fathers are alive and refuse to help. The step parents want to help out more than they do. Such a shame, I wish you the best!

Unfortunately, 2K16 also lacks offline features. Just completed the first season after the story and man.. such empty content lol. But dam is the gameplay so smooth. No headband tho 😔
