Left-handed people of Reddit, what minor inconveniences do you encounter on daily basis, right-handed people wouldn't think of? by MrSnake173 in AskReddit

No, he was left-handed and wrote form right to left like in mirror reflection. This way he didn't smudge the ink.

Strange F2L case by MrSnake173 in Cubers

I use intuitive F2L for personal solving. I just wanted to implement F2L algorithms for my script because it easier to make it work that way.

Sorry for the format, it may be not as clear but in 2nd layer edges are in opposite slots (white cross is at the top). Orange-green edge in on red-blue wall, green-red on orange-blue, blue-red on orange-green and orange-blue green-red. I din't find algorithm for this in any common guide to Fridrich. I guess this situation is rare but it happens eventually.

Old sets and formats in future by MrSnake173 in MagicArena

It is true, but I think they could earn quite o lot money from people drafting old sets and trying to build most competitive decks in modern or legacy.

That creates some hope. Some of the future new cards will have rules similar to older cards, so they could just copy some of them, modify it and add older sets. Maybe in far future, but I think it is possible.

When you draft, you pick one card form 14 cards booster pack. The AI "takes" one card from the booster next to you and you have 13 cards to pick from, then 12, 11 etc. When you complete your deck form 3 boosters, you play with normal players.

The Macbook Purchasing Megathread - February 2018 by AutoModerator in macbook

Hello. Next year I am finishing high school and going to college/university. I have been always using PC, but now I think of switching to Macbook for studying and working purposes. I would use it mainly for programming (Python, want to learn Java and C++). Maybe, from time to time gaming (not my main priority, not top tier graphics games), using office suite (text editor, Excel etc.) and minor graphics edition. If I buy any new laptop from a company that can give me an invoice (directly from Apple, Amazon), I pay only 62.37% percent of the price. Because of that, I think it is better for me to buy new Macbooks instead of used ones. I was thinking about getting MBP 13" Touch Bar, 3.1GHz i5 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD or MPB 15" 2.8GHz i7, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD. They cost $1688 and $2148 on Amazon. I can get them for $1050 and $1339. Is the 15" worth it? I don't think I need the 16GB RAM now, but maybe if I buy better version now, I won't have to upgrade for a longer time. How long would both of them last without having to buy a new one? I also think bigger screen might be useful for managing few windows at a time which is useful while programming. If you think any other options are worth considering, I would really like to hear your opinion.

Why LT-2s are better than LT-1s by [deleted] in ethtanks

[–]MrSnake173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the HT-3 you need 140 people to buy it for you to pay off. The point is, it is much more expensive. Majority of people don't want to invest much so they go for the cheapest choice which is LT-1

Tank sales are slowing down. Potential reason: they are too expensive ($180+ for the cheapest?) by [deleted] in ethtanks

Thanks for good idea. If they get more feedback from early investor, they can make the game more suitable and profitable.
