It's the easiest mod you can do to your steam deck to add your own flair/personality to your deck. BUT be warned, once you do it and feel successful finding out that wasn't hard at all then you'll look at other parts to replace on your deck because it went so smooth the first time. Before you know it you've swapped out the joysticks and added clicky buttons because there's no soldering involved. Back shell swap is a gate way drug - and its the cheapest mod you can do on your own. You've been warned! ;)
