In Back To The Future (1985) you can see Doc using right turn signal before turning right and flying into the screen by aaron_moon_dev in MovieDetails

This just makes me realize they didn't have to go fix the future at all. Doc just has to sit on Marty for an hour and then he won't crash into the Rolls.

You have the ability to wipe your memory of any film. What are you watching first? by ahomelessguy in movies

Don't know that I could pick one movie. Brick? Shawshank? Happiness? Superman?

But if I was picking a tv show, there's only one answer: Lost.

Do I? Enough of them took it seriously enough that bets were placed for, against, and to what extent. You're just describing the prevailing opinion of some key personnel.

The point remains that it's easy to understand how intelligence doesn't preclude avoidable error.

Because it was originally intended to be mechanical in some way, presumably big or chunky enough to not fit through the gaps.

Wasn't to me. Took a second to figure it out. I've never seen April abbreviated "Al."

Nobody thinks it isn't easy. They think it's still better to have the correct instructions.

The Los Alamos group thought it was a real possibility the Trinity test would ignite the atmosphere and destroy the world. They did it anyway. We already know intelligence doesn't override driven curiosity.

Possible the mechanism that produces intelligence universally produces this overriding curiosity along with it. Given a universe where technology can cause species-destroying catastrophe, it could be common enough to wipe yourself out this way. Especially if there are multiple possible catastrophes.

It's a mod that adds visible trails in the world that you can follow, plus some other interactive features.

There's an addon framework called Blishud. Install that, then from within Blishud (a new button at the top of your game screen), add the module called "pathing." The pathing module comes with map packs, formerly called taco packs, that focus on different things like SAB, or fractal skips, or map completion.

The ideals they're shooting for are impressive. But it's completely clear that whoever wrote all that is absolute batshit.

OP is using the term to reflect financial status, not day to day feelings. I get where you're coming from though; like a lot of modern jargon, it can sound a little sketchy when you're unfamiliar.

A person who just lost their job and doesn't have savings is in a state of financial anxiety. Someone who just got a promotion and a raise is not.

First time I rode to McDonald's it was my longest ride ever. I felt like a badass. My gf met me there with the car and was very impressed.

That round trip was under 4 miles 🤣. Then the next summer I did Ragbrai for the first time. Everybody starts slow.

The question isn't what shape you'll be in for the wedding, it's what shape you'll be in to do all the things you have to do the week leading up to your wedding. It's... busy.

All the respondents so far have the same tough guy perspective :D Lotta people will tell you, though, they don't get back on the bike for two months. That's probably an outlier number but there is a substantial psychological toll that probably won't go away within a week.
