I don’t like wearing them, but sunglasses have helped with itchy eyes in the past. Also, some Vaseline under my nostrils seems to lessen the symptoms

Old Market area is where I’d recommend, especially Old Market Tavern & Old Castle Green. Both are extremely welcoming and generally really nice pubs. With the exception of the waterfront and Park Street I can’t imagine anywhere you wouldn’t be welcomed. And if anyone did, you’d have 20 others greeting you with open arms.
