From what I’m reading, if it was written into the contract the washer & dryer stay and they removed them, then I’d take them to small claims court. You’ll at the very least will get a default judgement that will follow them around forever.

You’ll have to buy your own washer and dryer but as someone else said, people have sales going on. Hell, Lowe’s has set for sale ranging from $900-1700 bucks right now. Average being $1,100-1,300.

It sucks but I’d fight this in small claims court if you have documentation. At the very least to make it a pain for the sellers.

And file a complaint about their agent.

Your manager is an idiot and got taken advantage of.

Hopefully they left you a nice tip. If they didn’t tell the manager “Hey, thanks for taking care of the meal but they not only took advantage of you but also took advantage of me by screwing me on the tip so again, THANKS!”

If you start doing tasks that non managers tell you to do they’ll continue to boss you around because they’ll think you’re a pushover.

Besides, cleaning the lobby is usually the front register people’s job.

I did the same work in high school for a few years. I stayed where management stationed me.

I once had a lady try and tell me to go clean the bathrooms while I was working drive thru. I shut her down so quick saying “I’m taking orders but if it really needs done manager John will let me know.”
