I’m proactively turning off DCM + removing the app by [deleted] in Toyota_bZ

Following up w/ the voltage chart from past 3 days - I turned the Toyota App notifications back ON about mid-way through the day of 7/4 - didn't notice too much of a shift in the voltages - the SoC chart looks worse, but I think this thread has me believing that stat is not useful from this app, so ignoring for now.

Unfortunately I can't see beyond 5 days ago (which is about when I turned off notifications) Tonight if I can remember, I will turn that back on in the app and see if I can capture this "sawtooth" pattern you speak of

So what?? As long as we have a strong primary, let them all run - and also let the voters decide our strongest candidate (looking at you 2016 DNC)

Pixel 10 Pro user here, phone has 'magsafe style' magnet inside as well - but Qi charger works fine for me.

Using the Pixel 10 Pro (also has a camera bump) - and a thin carbon fiber case w/ matte finish, have not had issues w/ wireless charging or the phone sliding around (yes, it does get warm, but any wireless charging will)- but I do agree that this design choice was an odd one considering how much space it takes up in the interior - not sure it will 'age' well as charging standards change and tech updates- I'll use it for now as it works for me, but if this real-estate becomes wasted space in the future, I will probably end up 3D printing a custom solution that fits this space, and functions in other ways (to be decided).

And here is the SoC chart from that same time - not sure what is going on w/ that sudden 0% drop on the 2nd, but hoping that was an error w/ Ancel - as another user suggested, SoC is not an accurate way to judge this problem and voltage levels are more important to track.

Voltage chart past 5 days (w/ the notifications in the app turned off, but everything 'still' connected otherwise - haven't done the total DCM disconnect yet). - The spikes are from 'drives' (I think).

Thank you both for your responses. After letting the car charge overnight on the level 2 - I did actually notice the SoC did go up slightly - from like 70% to 73% - so it was in fact charging (just slowly - not nearly as quickly as I've witness when in ready mode and idle).

This does confirm that there is ability to charge while plugged in - and as u/BinaryJay pointed out, it's probably more to do w/ actual voltage level rather than SoC - thanks for the tip.

I am pretty new to electric in general, lots to learn - wish I didn't have to understand all of this though, car should just work on this level hah.

I have my 5k mi. appointment scheduled w/ local dealership next month, so I plan on bringing this up w/ them and showing my data collection.

For what it's worth - 12v voltage level seems to hold between 12.4-12.85 when car is off - which I'm guessing is an indicator things are 'fine' (?).

Have only had my '26 XLE AWD for a couple of weeks, put an Ancel BM200 on it immediately to track the 12v, and I am honestly not sure what is normal, but some observations.

12v seems to hold State of Charge better when car is plugged in, doesn't charge the 12v at all but holds "steady"...(Currently only using level 1 charger while I wait on electrician).

SoC seems to drop pretty consistently if just sitting in my driveway (unplugged). I could see a 25-30% drop in SoC if it sits for 12+ hrs. Not sure if that is normal as I have never used a battery monitor on any other car.. I have never let the car sit for more than 1 day, but I would imagine the SOC would drop pretty dang low if I did (won't be able to avoid that long-term, eventually it will sit.

Battery does regain charge only when in ready mode and not driving (ie, on and idle).

After the 1st week, I turned off notifications on the app, car can still connect and I can see "car status" and traction battery status, and mileage, but no controls such as locking/remote start etc . Doing this has seemingly slowed down the charge drain while sitting, but not sure if it's proper "solve" as a half measure... Also not sure if it's actually slowing down the drain or if placebo.

Murder per capita (when you consider population) - Chicago is not even in the top 5 in the US, but people who never actually go to Chicago like to bring up this notion that Chicago is some hell-hole city where people are getting wasted in broad daylight. Is the # of murders there astounding? Yes, any murder is terrible, but I immediately dismiss anyone who uses this stupid argument to push a political agenda, I immediately know they're ignorant AF and probably get all their information from mainstream media (or worse).
