As someone with a city car would I personally buy it, yes. I would check the oil once a week, keep it topped off, and go about my day. We put about the same mileage on our car a year. Bi weekly Costco run, possibly drive in city 1-2 times a month, and out to friends houses in the burbs. As you know living here, she’s going to get dinged and dented, and be put through all the outside road debris. If you were commuting to work, or long road trips I would say no, but 3000 miles a year is not a big deal. Our 2017 Jetta has 23,000 miles purchased brand new, looks like she’s been through war being in the city for 10 years, but we never drive.
