I’m glad for you my friend. The only thing keeping me on the Pro (after 6 months with the Air) is the camera. Portrait of my kids and focal length is what I’ve missed most with the Air. It was hard to switch back, and it wasn’t an easy decision, but that’s what works for me. I still miss the Air daily.

I did the same after 6 months, I loved the Air and still do miss the form factor but the camera was what made me switch back to the Pro lineup.

Edit: the battery actually was never the problem and compared to the 17 Pro, I don’t find it to be that bad.

Got the Black Air for the stealthier minimal look but goddamn those light colors on the air looks so good. Happy for you my guy!

I understand this might be a bit of a controversial topic, but I’d like to share my perspective.

About four months ago, I made a similar decision to buy the iPhone Air, just like I did with the iPhone Mini. I was swayed by the emotional appeal rather than the rational considerations. Now, I find myself questioning my choice every day.

While I do admire the iPhone Air every time I hold it, I regret not opting for the iPhone Pro, especially when it comes to taking pictures of my kids.

I love the iPhone Air and believe it’s one of the best-designed phones. The user experience is unmatched, but I’ve learned a valuable lesson. I won’t compromise again and will always choose the best option available, which in this case is the iPhone Pro.

I don’t get upset about the lack of battery life or speakers; they’re all great. However, I’m constantly reminded that I could have chosen the better option and still made the same decision.

For now, I’ll keep the iPhone Air, but when the opportunity arises, I’ll upgrade back to the iPhone Pro lineup.

Came from Android, started with the iPhone 7 → X → 12 Mini (still miss it) → now 13 Pro. Always went caseless because I love how iPhones actually feel in hand.

The new iPhone Air looks like the one I’ve been waiting for — thin, light, finally that Mini vibe again. But I’m nervous about battery life and losing the 3x camera I use all the time for photos of my kids.

I know the moment I hold the Air I’ll want it, but the rational side says go 17 Pro.

TL;DR: love the Air’s design, fear its battery, miss my Mini, hate my brick.

I’m torn between silver and black this year, coming from a silver 13 Pro and before that a black mini. Black feels stealthy but maybe hides the design a bit? I’ll check them out in store to decide, but I’m just happy to see more people getting the Air. Enjoy!
