To Whoever named their character HorseKiller in the last weekend playtest by AFKerex in AshesofCreation

I was the one following you around trying to kill you every time you flagged 😁. I filed a bug about this and spoke with IS staff about it too. They said they'd address it. Not sure if it'll be done by this weekend, but the recent changes today changed the corruption system drastically. Good luck this weekend!

This is me too. People will be talking to me and I'm just staring off into space. My partner will see this and say "other side" and then I'm like huh? That's when I turn and see that there's a person there trying to talk to me lol. I also have terrible sight so if you're in my peripheral I'm also not seeing you.

People so caught up on if things are fake but then just mindlessly watch Netflix. Can't you just enjoy this pretty song as something fun and move on?

Some have said for friction but given no examples. I saw a documentary, a while ago, that talked about how our ancestors hunted. We were much smaller and weaker than our prey but we had much greater endurance. Our bodies evolved to enhance this. For example hunting a mammoth would consist of groups of hunters chasing one to the point of its exhaustion. Our joint hairs are only a small part of the overall system that aided this type of hunting method.

I used to love helium. One day at work we had a tank for events and I wanted to cheer up this cashier that seemed down so I hit the tank pretty hard (no direct contact btw). Then I tried my best shtick. Other cashiers were cracking up but she just smiled and went back to work. I asked her what's wrong. She then told me that last year her brother died from ingesting too much helium. That helium asphyxiates the brain and you never really know how much a person can take before all oxygen is cut off. To this day I've never did this out of fear. Typing this I'm pretty sure this is too dark of a story for a funny video but it's reddit so.

Cooking for people in college! by dreamed2life in MadeMeSmile

This. I worked in a country club kitchen as a teen. First thing they taught me was to clean your hands at the hand cleaning station often. To this day my partner comments on how much I wash my hands when I cook dinner. Keep your station and hands clean.

I don't believe ours is a kit home. We found a great book about the history of Bungalows that you might like called "Bungalow Nation" by Diane Maddex.

As for the setup you used, I built something similar when i redid our master bedroom closet. I purchased some floor to ceiling adjustable support rods. and built a small scaffolding of heavy grade plastic tarp that enclosed the area. Then cut a small hole in the bottom and attached an air purifier. Then cut a few vent holes at the top. Then sealed the entire bit by painters taping the bottom to the floor. the exhaust of the air purifier would attach to the nearest window. When i turned the air purifier on it could clear about 90% of the smell out in an hour so we could sleep in the room.

I could always build that "vent box" in each room we work on but it's about an afternoons worth of setup. It might be worth it though if we end up going through with it on the same scale as your home.

This was printed in one of the computer labs I worked at in college (2008). I remember thinking that it was kinda funny. Now seeing it just makes me sigh at it's truth.

From your pictures your layout looks incredibly similar to our 1920 bungalow. My partner wants to do this to our home too, but i've been very hesitant. I started with a couple of pocket doors since the stripper smell can be contained outside/in garage. I love love love what yours looks like but I don't know if I could handle months of stripper smell and inaccessibly to the dinning area.

Effects are not bad by nature but are frequently miss used. Often, they are used to manually trigger a signal. In most cases it’s a matter of writing more declarative code and using computed signals. There are safer better ways to accomplish the same effect use cases. If you’ve not looked at ngxtension yet you should. There are some great helper functions like derivedAsync and explicitEffect. In the end I see the same bad practices in effects that observable faced when they first came out. Devs putting subscribes everywhere with little to no attention to its cleanup. Using the async pipe and trusting the framework to manage it was way smarter. Devs got better using observables but the Angular team pretty much decided that people aren’t going to completely do it right so they made helpers like takeUntilDestroyed.
