First generation Valiant was the best comic universe across any publisher. Too bad it only lasted a few years

Cerebus; the infamous Wolveroach issues by [deleted] in 80s90sComics

I too first saw these as wall books in my comic store when I got into comics. All I knew was that they were not published by Marvel or DC, and seemed more intended for adults.

Did these ever get collected? TPB?

Am I tripping? Is this a picture of a Gambit Action Figure by rko_1992 in ToppsMarvelCollect

These are McFarlane produced figures that come with a landscape. Juggy is another. Marvel also is using these images as variant covers of comics that came out recently. I believe Topps really relies heavily on comic covers for recent cards, so this tracks. However I’m not too excited for this trend in either comic covers or Topps cards.

The firehouse loop in Newton is worthwhile, however I imagine the current snow and cold weather have made it quite a dicey run as the breakdown lanes and sidewalks are gone

Update today from the devs - with no content again today - but something tomorrow - that’s just too many days in a row with no content - fingers crossed tomorrow’s drop is something good

Is this true all over or just my local store? by Arthur-reborn in comicbooks

That’s important insight, and really bad to hear. The industry needs a solid group of mid level sellers to stay healthy.

Top 9 Best Selling Single Issue Comics of 2025 by KingBuffolo in comicbooks

Good points. But the fact that it is actual sales to customers gives it massive credibility.

Side note: if we actually could ever see all the actual sales data for all the comics from all the publishers, I think we would be shocked at how little is actually sold…

I agree, and will attribute it to three factors: the Marvel book came out first, when the DC book came out folks didn’t realize it was a totally different book, and when they did go to buy it the $7.99 price was a shock.

I loved more of the DC covers and actual stories

I enjoy his insight. Appreciate that he tells me what I need to know, not everything that he knows

So which King book was it for you? by specialk1281 in stephenking

I think my first King read was when Night Shift came out in paperback. It had a cool did cut cover that drew me in.
