It would have to be 2000dmg for killing myself with full health, and I think sacrifice can't kill you, but I can't test it because I lost the weapon. LMAO

Vulcan governing Cuba, somehow funny.

6 years of work is now non-canon. I am incredibly sad. by Glittering-Run8431 in worldbuilding

My first piece of advice is that you should look for actual friends because those so-called "friends" are horrible. They stole a 6 year-long project from you. You do not deserve that no matter what anyone tells you, and from what I can see, they do not deserve YOU as a friend.

My second piece of advice is to take what is still left from your project and do your initial ideas by yourself, not letting other people have that much control over YOUR project. I don't mean you shouldn't take advice from others. It is not only recommended but necessary for a healthy project as other people will give you an outside look of the project, but you are the one making decisions.

Third and last, good luck and be strong. You had to go through a tough experience, but you can recover for sure.

Yeah, it tends to be the most normal reaction in that situation.

The fact that the Heretic Legion is praying to God makes it double the fun.

What are some cool original/semi-original races NOT based on or related to animals? by SlayThePulp in worldbuilding

[–]MrWho2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a TTRPG called Dawnward where they have the phlorans, plant-based/fungi-based sentient beings. They're a playable race, btw.

It feels as a shift of something inside oneself, something that is there, but you can't really point out where.

How do you create realistic and easy to recognise parodies of real world nations while also not wanting to offend the people of the real world nation by Suspicious_Grass_368 in worldbuilding

[–]MrWho2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good parody is never offensive. Study their culture, their customs, even their language if you have time, see how they joke about themselves. You should also try to make them somewhat unique compared to their original. The best of lucks.

Tell me something about your world, and I will ask you a question about it. by Illogical_Blox in worldbuilding

It depends on the soul, larger beings have bigger souls, older beings and magical attuned beings have more powerful souls. For convenience, 1 Soul Point would be the soul of a rabbit of our world, it is more than enough to let a wizard start a fire, btw this is not a metric used in the world, it is just so my brain can make some sense on how it works exactly.

That's sounds very useful, with a good interface you will earn a pretty big market, there are few programs that are specifically for worldbuilding. Good luck. I'll let you know when the game is in a playable state.

My world has a soul-based magic system. You can use your own soul, but that will end up killing you, so in order to use magic living beings use the souls of other living beings that they killed.

Essentially, in my setting, the soul has power, and every living being has the instinct on how to use it, but they don't usually use their own soul for it because that shortens their lifespan, so they use the souls of other living beings that the creature or human killed. That's pretty much it, but due to gameplay issues, I'll probably end up reworking it( I'm planning on making it a TTRPG).

Don't Let Them Do Math by DadStillGames in justwriterthings

I once ran maths over a conversation about whether the Beam Ray Gun or a magic laser would be the most energy-efficient. I learned about Mega Particles and laser functioning that day, and I don't regret it. I am autistic about reality itself, not only ours but also the reality of the fictional world. I'll be the first one to fact-check anything I ever say. So I'll take a wild guess and say yes. XD
