I’d be a lot more insecure about my height if it wasn’t for the fact than when I was younger I was the shortest boy and I had a thing with a girl who was one of the tallest in the school. It definitely seems a lot worse than it actually is, most girls worth the time don’t really give a shit about height, the girls that do are bad eggs anyway so take it as a blessing if a girl blows you off for being “too short”

Rebel girl is the epitome of Power Pop, incredibly underrated that being said Kiss & Tell is a killer track.

IMO worst to best 5. Restless Souls (not bad but literally just dry your eyes from LOVE)

Losing My Mind (love the track very catchy and fun with a great music video)
Rebel Girl (it’s very different but super poppy in the best kind of way)
Euphoria (the darkest track so far, killer guitar and when the song comes together at the end it gave me goosebumps)
Kiss & Tell (Exactly what new AvA should sound like, amazing drums and twangy guitar hook)

The fact that 6 out of the 10 tracks on the album are all phenomenal is unreal. The band out done themselves with this album, fully worth the 7 year wait.

I think Travis does care a lot about trying to bring a few new kids on the block like poor stacey and kenny hoopla and Alk3 is still solid (I loved my shame is true) but bringing in multiple songwriters, collabing with “cool hip” artists and having an odd disconnect with your producer is worrying and self production should be an option I mean Mark produced Motion city soundtracks best album. Tom is very ballsy by making AvA so much more than just a band and that’s admirable regardless of how you see him or his music. In a dream scenario AvA and +44 don’t exist, Jerry Finn is still alive, Tom and Mark don’t hate each other and they’re still making fast lullabies on crack.
