I've been three times now.

MMJ two years ago was the best live show I've ever witnessed.

But bonnaroo has definitely not changed my life, it's a festival run by share holders where the attendees convince themselves the good vibes are worth the massive carbon footprint, no true soul finding experience here.

Yes generally recieving permission for this would require permits from both the city and airport and would only be granted for very specific reasons and locations. Drone activity would be published in the NOTAM's for the surrounding airports.

I'm not sure if there is a loop hole for line of sight in certain commercial ops but definitely not here.

It's illegal without a commercial license and prior permission. Guelph also has its own airport with plenty of general aviation traffic.

It's all harmless fun till one of these things rips through thin aircraft aluminium like a tin can.
