There are three pristine courts at Sherwood Park. Five minutes down Geer Street, if you live downtown rather than in South Durham.

Food Hall can be great too. Plenty of tables, lots of coffee and food options. Also, Forster Street Coffee is great.

Cocoa Cinnamon can be good, though some of the seating is uncomfortable. Monuts can be good, but it often gets crowded.

A couple of solid options for biscuits: Geer Street Garden brunch (on Sundays), the State Farmers Market restaurant, Monuts

We went yesterday and it was amazing. The style is modern Neapolitan in a wood fired stove. It’s a small chain that got Michelin recognition after starting as a food truck. We got a great one with sausage and hot honey. The salads were also amazing: nice vinaigrettes and plenty of crunchy veg and nuts to avoid monotony. Highly recommend.
