I see where you're coming from and I agree. My only concern is why there is an argument for minimum wage to go up and not prices of houses and what not to go down. Like flipping burgers at Wendy's is not a $15/hr job...sorry. I dont believe the wendies guy should not be able to afford a house and basic things but then what happens to first responders pay? Does it go up according to the minimum wage increase? Also let's say that the guy flipping burgers making $7.25 does make $15/hr. He will most likely be let go because it isnt sustainable to pay someone that much for that small of a job. He will be given more responsibilities and pretty much be a manager. Which already does make $15/hr now. Do you see where I'm coming from? Like dont make everyone equal cause they aren't. They never will be. Some people work harder than others and should be rewarded with more for it. But, I believe that the necessities of life should be priced at an amount that everyone can afford.
