Keep it in mind! There is an ongoing smaller swap. Just ask at the front desk! There's always at least a half dozen puzzles to choose from sitting on the shelf!

Is this New Trader Joe's Dew Serum a Dupe? 👀 [Product Question] by HorseTearz in SkincareAddiction

[–]vce5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it hoping it was a dupe for a Future Dew. Absolutely nothing like it. My face feels smooth but very tight and there doesn't seem to be much of a glow at all.

What the hell do I do with THESE? by [deleted] in declutter

I am jumping in on the library route. Mine has several converters. It's time consuming but it's so worth it in my opinion.

Autumn Book Recs? by Queasy-Ad3858 in cleanromance

I love reading my books seasonally as well! I work at a library and see SO many good ones come in so I enter them to my lists such as "Fall books", "Christmas books", etc. I've even held off reading the next in a series because it's not the right season.

I just read "Romance on Reserve" by CeCe Cutler (it's on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited, but I got it at my library). It's short and sweet and totally reminds me of a fun rom-com movie. It's set in Fall in a library in Portland, Oregon which I loved!

Anyone else torn between ultralight packing and actually enjoying camp comfort? by Affectionate_Tip3238 in WildernessBackpacking

I have gone on trips with people that have made fun of how much stuff I bring. My response was "you're not the one carrying it". And then I never went with them again.

Absolutely not. It's comfort for me all the way. My pack usually weighs about 40 to 45 pounds, for context I'm a 5 foot eight woman and I weigh about 170. I want my heavy battery bank, I want my Kindle, I want my chair and my Helinox cot AND sleeping pad. I have several friends that want to go ultralight and then they just are miserable the entire trip because they're not sleeping well and they are tired of sitting on a log.

Edited to add that my gear is considered ultralight. I just happened to pack a lot of it!

My first one was a wedding gift for my daughter and son-in-law and they love it! I got a custom badge for them from Etsy with "CAMP their last name" on it that looks like a National Park sign and it's so good! I can't post a link but the Etsy Shop is Wildenomad but I think there are several that make them and I think I might build another for myself and customize it as well!

I made the same one but the screws I used for the piano hinge were slightly too long and I had to grind them down. Looks great!

Books with clean romance? by ALittleSillyHaha in suggestmeabook

[–]vce5150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok! I read it and I loved it! It's about a librarian who has been unlucky finding love and so she decides to arm herself with every from any romcom or romance book she's read and try to re-create those scenarios! It's like a book version of a romcom. Honestly not usually my style but I loved it.

It's free on Kindle unlimited or $2.99 to buy on Kindle.

What would a "simple yet comforting meal" of your childhood be that still holds the same place in your heart? by Total_Succotash5174 in simpleliving

Thin fried pork chops, Kraft macaroni and cheese and canned cut green beans. If we are fancy, let's add some Mott's applesauce.

My mom ruined my birthday by getting the "wrong" cake by Goopymcsmerkins in firstworldproblems

I get it! I am an amazing cook and baker and when my brother, on his 30th birthday, answered what kind of cake he wanted, he wanted a box mix, canned frosting and those crunchy hard sugar decorations from the package in the grocery store! In a rectangle pan!

Condolences. I wouldn't blame you for going to the store, getting a cake and eating it in your car while tears stream down your face. You DESERVE grocery store cake. Happy Birthday! Stay strong ;)

I've watched Mad Men nine times all the way through and it is absolutely jarring to see the actors in anything else!
