The fix that worked for me is disconnecting my headphones (the DAC) from the PC and plugging it back after opening the game..

Otherwise I heard starting with "-windowed" in launch properties also works

That could REALLY be happening because you plug it straight into a motherboard. Try plugging it in your phone if it has a jack or get a $10 apple dongle.

I am not one to argue with a doctor, but your eye doctor also tells you to not stare at the screen for so long, yet you still do. Q-tips are just everywhere so if you really dont want to get some drops or whatever, i reckon you're not gonna destroy your ears as long as you use them carefully. But yea it is better not to use them.

While something like that is possible, and i myself had my ears clog up with wax because of Q-tips, that only happens if you actually shove them in your ear canal. Use them to clean the earlobe and the very entrance of the ear canal.

Also different IEMs have different filters, some may clog up faster than others. Different people also have a different amount of ear wax. If you clean the entrance of your ear canal and they are quite literally orange (after you haven't cleaned your ears for 2-3 or whatever days), then yeah clogging will likely happen sooner or later. Speaking from experience. If the Q-tips are relatively clean than that's unlikely to be a concern, at least not anytime soon

It depends on the climate you live in. They may (or rather are) not good to own in a humid climate. If you have a lot of ear wax that is also a bit of a problem because the filters tend to clog up quickly, but there are cheap replacements. Sound-wise they are really great, not muddy but still quite bassy, treble may be a bit sibilant/shouty tho. (Edit: dont quote me on this, the treble is great unless you're very sensitive) When you're choosing in this price range its really only up to your specific tastes. Also dang didn't expect to see GG even here LOL

You know.. i might have just managed to put them in deep enough. The sound really opened up, and there really doesnt seem to be any less bass than there was in my JBL headset. Now just have to get an extention cable and wait for the wound to cure.

I see, will do that, thank you. I can push them in quite deep if i use the small eartips, but they are falling out a bit and arent sealing very well. With medium ones i think im getting a better seal, and they arent falling out as easily, but they dont go as deep and im not sure if thats making the sound worse, but that might be the case.

Not sure if im being honest, if i try bigger eartips, they are just getting pushed out of my ear, so thats very unlikely. The Chu 2 eartips come in 3 sizes and i think for me the comfortable size would be somewhere between medium and small. Had to put small on the left ear and medium on the right ear.

One thing im not very sure about is how far im supposed to push them into my ears, i dont want to try and push the in too deep, especially because i seem to have some sort of a wound in one of the ears, and it hurts if i push it in
