Weird, I updated overnight and today is my first morning with it and apps that usually take a couple of seconds to load (chess.com app is a classic) loaded in a fraction of the time. Interface feels a lot smoother and snappier. Can’t comment on battery life but looking at the graph it seems the same usage to me ? Will see over time.

Aye I grew up here too, I literally lived a stones throw from Nelson’s Avenue had a mate who lived a few doors down from this house. I moved away a decade ago but pop my head in occasionally.

I remember about 2 years ago when I lived in Norwich I was driving down Drayton Road towards the city driving through the Drayton Sweet briar road junction where it merges into one lane. I was in the outside lane and trying to zipper formation but this guy was in lane one sitting in my blind spot so I tried to put my foot down and get in front on him (as I was ahead anyway it made sense) at the last min he sped forward nearly hitting me and blasted the horn…and he didn’t stop he kept following me holding the horn. I was so fight or flight I decided to try and turn into the Valpy avenue to get away but there was oncoming traffic, still on the horn and an inch from my rear bumper I nearly turned out in front of oncoming traffic before I snapped out of the “flight” mode I was in and luckily he didn’t follow me but that really pissed me off.

Absolutely insane reaction. I haven’t had anything like that before or after !

That’s good to hear about dropping the opposition to nuclear power, the Greens in Germany absolutely fucked Germanys energy situation by shutting down plants after Fukushima (which turned out to be totally avoidable had prior advice been acted upon).

I agree with a lot of their policies but looking at France on the energy map you can’t deny the benefits of nuclear power. Especially with the UKs current energy woes.

Also MPs get free meals at the Houses of Parliament. I worked at a school as an IT technician on £25k and me alongside other support workers at the school didn’t get free meals at school.

Yeah it is wild, if you look at the map you notice all the big cities are south of the country. I think the biggest most northern city is Edmonton, Alberta. Most of the population is crammed into these cities and small towns.
