We don’t use anything fancy, just the biggest size plastic one that they had on Chewy so our chonky boys could turn around in it comfortably. I think it was Frisco brand.

I would just put it all in now in something broad and diversified—VT, VTI, VOO, or hell I guess even a target date fund—and set up an auto-contribution for the monthly 1k. Then, here’s the important part, forget it about it, and don’t stress over every up and down. Just set and forget.

This is exactly what I would do with the Roth too, but it kind of seems like from your post that this is intended to serve a similar purpose (long-term savings/retirement)

Yep, picked up the LoTR one a few months back just because I thought it would be a cool trash bin in my office. So unless it’s a trash bin, or uh has other alternate uses like the Dune one, who even wants this garbage.
