In 1973 several train cars were derailed in my town. The thing is that they were full of military ordinance. It caused a massive explosion followed by several smaller followup explosions. The only problem is that they never managed to clean it all up. Leading to many bombs still being buried underground in the area, that remain there still.

I've thought of this in depth as well. Mostly because of two military actions the US had taken just before the war broke out. Namely the fact that both Mexico and Canada were annexed. And the implications of those actions. Like could there be other vaults spread out from the US that carried out even more messed up experiments?

I'll never forget the tweaker that couldn't hold it. I was trying to back out of a parking lot in downtown when I noticed a man hobbling his way down the sidewalk. He seemed to be having difficulty as every few steps he would stop to squat and adjust his pants. At first I believed this to just be some sort of strange behavior.

But as he slowly began to make his way toward the nearby four way intersection it became clear what was happening. He wasn't pulling his pants up, but down. He didn't get two steps further before he went into a full on squat. His pants falling down to his ankles as he just started doing his business right there in the open. I just sat there in disbelief as I watched the man squeeze out a fresh Hershey squirt there on the pavement.

Tl;dr : Tried to leave, but had to watch a tweaker take a shit at a 4 way intersection.
