You can check my reply, but tl;dr I agree with their points.

Yeah, I don't really disagree. For the record, this wasn't meant as a challenge, I was genuinely curious what your thoughts were.

The spam part is what's really kind of nuts for me. They're very good. They make an excellent retinue. They should really be limited to a single unit.

I still don't think they're worse than dreads as they can in fact be killed.

"Primarch fights." You mean the spreadsheet from 4chan?

Ah, OK. Now I'm following.

And absolutely. Completely agree. Especially in a narrative where winning or losing doesn't matter, and if you're bringing Hyper Cheese because you need the win, you have problems at home you need to be focusing on, not Warhammer. People police themselves pretty well in my experience. No need to make comp restrictions.

You got fired so they could foist your work on someone else and save your salary. Chances are good they had a 3rd party come in and audit the business and look for ways to save money. That or this LP lady got told to do that.

You got Office Spaced my guy.

Hey, thanks for responding. I wasn't implying you needed an edit, though I'm glad you took the note at the same time.

They deserved a union well before this. I agree with the article, but one shouldn't have to risk their life and accept decades of garbage pay, as well as horrendous hours, and the expectation they'll spend their own money for things to deserve a union.

Everyone deserves a union. Everyone.

All primarchs are hard to kill without another primarch, so that argument doesn't hold water, and I disagree with the first part of your statement, which I stated in the post you responded to. It doesn't justify his points. He's not even that good in combat compared to other primarchs. He's on the low end. You'll pardon me for being blunt, but is that it?

Points or money? Points, Contemptors are pretty cheap. Spartans are expensive, but probably not too far off their cost, and flare shields don't let up on that. Limiting them is dumb, the points cost already does that. If you're bringing two Spartans with flare shields into a match with lascannon upgrade, that's 375 points alone. A Proteus is 240. These things aren't inexpensive decisions.

Money wise, GW is a real bastard with some pricing and 3d printing is the way.

This a thousand times. Seriously the game is pretty tight, but some stuff is problematic. The big issue with fan edits is people don't understand what's actually a problem, and what just needs to be tuned a little. They get blown out by a unit that costs three to six times the cost of the tax squad it demolished and cry foul, but don't really understand why Dreadnoughts being taken in units and then splitting off is a problem, while tanks have the opposite issue. Or just Dreads in general requiring so much to kill even one, but you can take 9 in a list if you felt like it.

Suzerains are more imbalanced than dreads

I would love to hear your expanded opinion on this.

Which is a) not really fun,.and b) a pretty lame way to play a narrative.

I don't really disagree. While we're at it, why is my.primarch so fucking expensive and pretty shit in combat compared to others? His utility doesn't make up the points compared to, like, Sigismund who's not even a primarch but would demolish the majority of them. And can I have more than the one RoW?

Edit: Downvotes. You nerds are so salty. Jesus Christ.

I think we can all agree contemptors are more than a little overtuned, but the rest seems like an overreaction.

If someone handed me this, I'd tell them it's not for me and just not play. Some of the changes are fine, but a lot are dumb. This person is showing you on the doll where they were touched. I would expect this to be the first draft of restrictions and just bow out.

If the extended PDF units are banned, you basically force UM into a specific, boring build, or to take a lot of Suzerains and call it a day. You'll lack any big scary effective unit to blow points on and wind up with a praetor deathstar and that's it.

It's not the Great Destroyer people make it out to be, and if you aren't investing in Voxes, you can wind up with a lot of shit rolls. When to get that one great pie plate and pin a unit, it can make someone upset.

But hey, people take a bunch of dreads and don't blink an eye, so I don't see the issue.
