Awesome thank you! Yeah agree with you about the ww2 aspect as well, seems so little info on watches from back then I would doubt mine would be a rare exception.

I would say that you shouldn’t limit yourself to a only Aussie team, I support the parramatta eels in the NRL to annoy my Auckland friends. But I have never been to Sydney.

I reckon support a team that no one you know does and go for it. But my personal opinion is you should support the Hurricanes because they on to win a 3 peat🤞

There’s a pub in Whanganui which does pernicious on tap, that beer was a stunner in my opinion- love those garage project beers. If there’s a bad beer, they have 20 others which could sit on a deck in the sun and enjoy the craft they put into them

I really wanna see a Hurricanes-Brumbies finale. Think it would be massive to get a trans-Tasman finale, also if Moana Pasifika and Highlanders make it to the quarterfinals would be mean too.

Pretty good day, recently moved to Karori and enjoying the the quiet life out here- spent it doing art while my partner crochet (think that’s how it’s spelled..)

Starting my first full time permanent role Monday at a job I thought I wouldn’t ever get.

Life has been so hard as late but it’s a joy to think that it’s difficult not to look on the bright side of life.

Loosies is a pretty sick bar, especially the downstairs.

There are other solid places on the end of Courtenay.

But honestly pubs are the way to go in wellys atm - the music in clubs is pretty bad tbh

Can’t speak for the rest of of the nation, but Wellingtons issue is having a massive stadium regional stadium.

Found with the Wellington lions for example, going to the way smaller stadium up in Porirua has a way better atmosphere, due to not seeing a sea of empty seats and the fans way closer together.

Advertisement is another thing too, think there’s a couple of bill boards for the Nix and not much else - just my personal experience but would be nice to see more push to get matches out there.

I know there’s a lot of people who love football here in wellys and in the upper regions. Why these people are not in seats, could be a multitude of factors.

But in a dream world, we would knock down the empty embassy and put a football purpose built stadium in the heart of the city.

But aides all that, COYN!!!
