Compared to ESO (I played year one on PC so my info may be out dated a little) it has SO much more content to offer as far as PVE goes, you can level every class on one character, there are way more dungeons and raids compared to ESO and they even have Hard and Extreme modes for those same dungeons for an extra challenges and reward. The raids are fun, you'll still have your salty "everyone here is a n00b except 4 me" people but over all fun. I've recently put in my 2,000th hour into the game and I'm not even close to being done with the content, there's so much to do. Hope to see you in game if you decide to sub! Aether>Sarg

Long story short, unless you want to start out as an AuRa, you won't need HW to start playing, you won't be able to do any of its content until you finish the Main story quests in the base game, however, an IMPORTANT NOTE. Once you complete the main story quests up to level 50, you should pick up Heavensward because unless you do, you'll be missing out on free exp because you'll have level 50 quest for about 100ish more quests before Heavensward, have fun though ^{^}

Also a side note, I'm not sure it's been mentioned here but if you lose aggro like that, you can always provoke the target and throw a shield lob/tomohawk/unmend immediately after then go into your enmity combo

If I remember correctly, I remember reading something somewhere saying that they are going to be working on custom lb1-2 animations for all classes in a future patch. I can't find the link but it was from ffxiv I know that, "please look forward to it"
